Lunar Eclipse Itsfunneh Novels & Stories

Hawking announces to them. "I knew it, he's trying to teleport to some planet," Soureh says. "If I'm right, a lunar eclipse is going to happen on Planet Earth right?" A*i turns to Karla. "Yes, it will happen around the end of midnight." Karla answers. "Not bad, Miss demigod." Soureh rolls her eyes. "Don't make me fight you Soureh," Helios threatens. Oh, here goes the prince charming of our dear Karla. "And also, we have a prince to fight on, Soureh," Liza speaks for the first time in front of Karla.

A lunar eclipse. I looked it up and yeah, their common, approximately occurring every ten thousand year or so, but they occur. It's called the blood moon. So there, a natural occurrence, nothing phenomenal. Which gave me an excuse to stick to my fallen stairs story and not let Moi know that I'd been out in the middle of the night or I'd never hear the end of it.

The Beta sensed my shift in pace and shouted out to our pack. "FOR THE LUNA! LET US RETURN HER TO OUR ALPHA. WE FIGHT AS ONE AND WE FIGHT FOR OUR PACK!" He was met with a cheer as they all continued to ferociously work at getting through the wall. These weren't the best circumstances, but each moment like this with my pack made me swell with pride. I made a mental note to myself, to make sure I offered a sacrifice to the Moon Goddess once this was all over. To thank her for giving me such an amazing pack to lead.

Their bodies lay on the ground, and the air was filled with the scent of blood. At the same time, the moon in the sky was half obscured by black clouds, as if a tengu had swallowed half of the moon. Nevertheless, the scene of a tengu devouring the moon would definitely be seen tonight, as a lunar eclipse would happen. Extraordinary and significant things were destined to happen tonight, after all.

"And you’re going to find that my heart is a lot harder to swallow than you think." She sat in the chair, the heavy brush in her hand, watching the moon rise over the jagged black peaks of the Ridge. It was nearly full. Tomorrow, the "Feast of the Luna" would begin. And Elara intended to make sure she was the only one who left the table alive.

The night sky no longer radiated serenity. Where the moon once shone with divine purity, now hovered an eerie, blood-soaked sphere—the Lunar Eclipse. It bathed the Silver Moon Pack lands in rust-red light, turning familiar forests into haunted shadows and casting jagged silhouettes over the ground like the scars of forgotten gods. Iris stood at the edge of the sacred cliff where ceremonies had once united the pack. The clearing below, normally used for rituals and celebrations, now glowed faintly—alive with magic awakened by the eclipse. The silence around her was unnatural, as if the world was holding its breath.

And I will continue to cry out to the moon goddess, seeking guidance and understanding, hoping that one day, I will find solace and clarity amid this heartache. As I lay on the soft grass in the field near the pack house, basking in the warmth of the sun, I noticed a figure dart past me in a blur. Curiosity piqued, I quickly rose to my feet and called out to the mysterious passerby. "Hey, wait! Who was that?" I asked, my voice filled with both excitement and a hint of unease.

Diamond's energy surged with understanding, her connection to the moon making the significance immediately clear. "When is the next lunar eclipse?" I asked, turning to Liam whose scholarly mind would know such details. "Next Friday," he confirmed grimly. "It's a partial eclipse, but it will be at its maximum around midnight." "Seven days," Kane said, his tactical mind already calculating what that meant for our timeline. "Not much time to prepare." The Priestess approached, her ancient eyes troubled. "A lunar eclipse would indeed provide the power needed to breach the veil between worlds. When the moon's light is temporarily dimmed, the barriers between realms grow thin."

He sets it on the desk in front of me. "The Eclipse line is not extinct, as many believe. But it is rare. So rare that most wolves thought it had died out generations ago." He opens the journal to a page marked with a black ribbon. "Eclipse wolves are born during a lunar eclipse. A moon that should never mark a wolf. But when it does, the power it grants is extraordinary." I look down at the page. There's a drawing of a crescent moon partially swallowed by shadow. Just like my mark.

It was just a thought. "Last night there was a lunar eclipse. Maybe its effect is still there." Everyone saw him, "I mean because of the lunar eclipse, our source of power was cut off and we reverted to the state of normal humans. Though this phase lasts only 10 to 20 minutes, it is still a very vulnerable period for us." Ultima Wolf Drik gave his explanation while seeing an unspoken question in everyone's eyes.
