Lunar Eclipse Itsfunneh Novels & Stories

He let’s go of my chin and sits back down, clapping his hands together which makes me jump. “So today is December 1st, Willow I require you to stay with me until 21st December!” I shake my head in refusal, that’s too long for Brett to be away. “That’s too long Lugh. Brett has packs to lead and I have my family to think of.” “Why 21st December?” Brett asks Lugh. “Winter Solstice. We have 2 dates a year where all the coven meet. We will need the joint power to break the magic binding on Willow. Brett you can go when you choose. Willow is safe here under my care.”

He leaves the room only shutting it so it’s only cracked open. “Hey, mom, what’s up. You rarely come in here.” I can hear them talk. “You weren’t in your office. So though you might be here. Pack members have asked if we will still celebrate the end of summer. We have a lunar eclipse this year.” “Of course, it’s still 2 weeks away. And I think we could all need it.” “We will need to see if we have some members that want to look after the pups while we go in a run,” Rosa says.

"Why am I even explaining it to you?" Saelin smirked. "I'm not the one who doesn't know what a lunar eclipse is, now, am I?"

"Charlie, what are you doing here?" "Did our Lord request for you?" she blurted out when he simply shook his head. Just then Chapelle remembered what he came here for and his eyes went wide with astonishment. "I remember! I remember! Where is our Lord?" he looked around going absurd when Raya asked, "Why? What has happened?" "Tonight is the blood moon eclipse!" Hearing this both Crawford and Raya exchanged horrified looks, their expressions changed from unaware to a known one and they gulped in fear.

The royal astronomers had predicted a rare, total solar eclipse—a celestial event that the fearful ancients had viewed as an omen of total destruction, but which Elena had meticulously, and brilliantly, reframed as a symbol of cosmic transition and rebirth. "They're calling it the 'Eclipse Coronation' in the city," Kaelen noted, stepping close and resting his hand gently on her shoulder, his palm feeling the vibrant life stirring beneath her dress. "It’s a powerful, resonant image. The shadow passing, and the new era rising in the brilliant light that follows. It is exactly what this empire needs."

(Emilie's POV) Storm's words were still hanging in the air when it happened. "They're coming," she'd whispered, and I'd felt the weight of it settle over me like a funeral shroud. But I didn't understand. Not really, not until the ground itself started to shake. The tremor began small, barely noticeable. But then it grew. Harder, deeper. Like something massive was waking up far beneath the earth and pushing upward. The moonflowers in the garden began to wither, their light dimming. The fountains stuttered and went still.

After we ate, we went back to the living room to watch another movie. At around 7 pm, Andrew told me to go and get ready. We had to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the shifting site in the forest. It is a small clearing in the middle of the forest where all wolves go for their first shift. It is special because it is the only place in the forest where the moon can shine on you completely. Our forest is so thick that moon can barely shine through the trees. The clearing is the only place it shines freely. I put on my white dress, chosen especially for this night. It is tradition to wear white on the night of our first shift. I put on my shoes and went back downstairs.

Becca POV. The steady, rhythmic beat of drums echoed through the streets, mingling with bursts of vibrant colors and lively music. It was a day in the month of June, when all the inhabitants of Havenwoods would come together to celebrate and feast. But as I looked around at the decorations and smiling faces, I couldn't help but feel that it was all for show. Every 13th of June, we gathered in the grand city hall to commemorate Haven Feast - a day where humans and werewolves supposedly celebrate their harmonious coexistence. But deep down, I knew it was all just a facade. Despite the cheerful atmosphere, I couldn't shake off the feeling that this celebration was nothing more than a hollow cha

Instead, I try to focus on the kids playing and my mates, not on the growing ache in my chest. I zone in and out of mum, Kara and Riley, all talking, letting it wash over me like a gentle breeze. Biting my lip, I continue to pray to the goddess to do something, anything, that would help Luca. We haven’t had an eclipse as far as I can remember. There must be a reason they are doing the ritual today. Is it to draw power from both the moon and the sun or is it to mock Selene and show despite her presence, the sun can’t be blocked out? Can’t be stopped. That Helios won’t be stopped.

I walked back over to my seat, leaning my elbows down on my knee. “Okay, I am listening,” I say wiping my hand down my face. “The moon goddess told your mother that your sister would need a strong and powerful mate to help protect her from the evil that would try to use her, to stand by her side.” He began to explain, “Her mate would be the future Alpha of her pack. Alone they are strong but together, they will be able to stop the evil forces that will becoming for our world. These rouge attacks aren’t random, they are looking for the Moon’s Luna, the wolf blessed by the moon goddess herself. She will have some power when she shifts, but once she mates and is marked with her mate, both of
