Susan patiently explained, "The medicine you were taking, is quite alarming. After researching it further, I found out it's a hallucinogenic drug. If someone administers it to you, you'll listen only to that person. These kinds of medicines can drive the person who consumes them to madness, blurring the lines between reality and hallucination, basically doctors doesn't prescribe these kinds of medicine, I don't know how those witches got these medicine." Tears welled up in Luna's eyes as she struggled to comprehend the gravity of the situation. She clutched her head, overwhelmed by a flood of emotions. "Why are they trying to ruin me like this? "Okay, I have- I have been having hallucinations lately and I have been seeing Gabriel's face everywhere. What can I use to make it stop? Luna asked out of desperation. She needed answers fast and immediately. She paused and waited hoping he would say something. "Ha!" He laughed hard, he didn't pause. It was funny to him. "Oh you need my help? I didn't know that was actually possible." He laughed again. He seemed to be having a good time. "This isn't funny. Why are you laughing?" Luna asked in anger. She was being mocked and she knew it. She hated it.

His voice dropped, slow and deliberate. “Catalyst. She is not a ripple, Lucien. She is a fracture line.” Lucien stepped closer, studying the hard set of his Alpha’s jaw. “And fractures break more than they shape. You saw the way your own wolves whispered. They looked at her as though she had already chosen a side—and not yours.”

Raven was afraid of what your parents were aware of and guarded. She killed them for that reason. I felt cold when he said it. Suddenly, the fragments of my shattered past felt sharper and heavier. With a faltering voice, I confessed, "I don't understand." What am I supposed to do with any of this? I'm not unique. In exile, I was unable to defend myself at all.

Although records proved enough lunaris were born with gifts, Lucian believed it to be the church’s propaganda… Nonsense.

"The festival of the Lunatic is on Tuesday next week and we're going to the Town square to perform rituals for that day. Have you forgotten?" It dawned on him. He'd totally lost track of time.
