I sat myself down on the thin bed she had on the floor, seeing an alarm clock that had a setting of 3:30 am while she had a few books scattered throughout the area. 'The Great Gatsby' 'Nicholas Nickelby' 'Catcher in the Rye' along with a few I didn't recognize, yey they were all classics. All things that just showed how truly remarkable she was. Thumbing through the novels I was taken aback by the amount of notes she had within the margins, she was truly a remarkable person, brilliant at that. Her compassion through her hardships, her sheer unwavering love or want to be kind to others even when shunned for most of her life just proves that she was always meant to be Luna, my Luna.

Then he said,” You guys also have a café here in with the bookstore, right? “Yeah, we do. Some people come in and like to read for some time. Enjoy. There is a woman who comes for lunch here every day at three in the afternoon and then takes her book which she likes and keeps on reading for the whole thirty minutes. My boss thinks that the people who come here to read books are gonna be extinct soon like dodo birds and we are trying to help rehabilitate them,” I said as we finally reached the aisle where the second hand books were kept.

Gabriel personally opened the door for the little fellow and made sure his seat belt was fastened. At noon, Cynthia was busy making the adjustments to her design until her head hurt. Angela's request did not conform to the standards. There were still many areas that needed revision. Around twelve, Linda knocked on her office door and said to her, “Cynthia, let’s go have lunch together.” “I’ll just eat at the cafeteria.” Cynthia lifted her head to reply. Linda looked at her, feeling sorry. “No. I haven’t treated you to a meal since you came back. Let’s go! Lunch is on me.”

Plates of grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, and a lemon tart greeted them. “Food!” Emily declared dramatically. “You’re a goddess.” Marla chuckled and wiped her hands on her apron. “Sit down before it gets cold.” Lunch was warm and easy. The sun stretched across the yard, casting gold over the trimmed hedges and glassy surface of the pool. For a little while, the weight of the day lifted. They laughed over Sarah’s terrible attempts at British accents and one of Emily’s ridiculous conspiracy theories about lemon tarts. Cassie laughed too, genuinely. The food grounded her. The chatter soothed the ache. She was grateful for the moment.

I accepted Annelise's invitation and visited her at her work at the mall. She used her amazing and long lunch time to show me her favorite stores, including a bookstore whose shelves reached two floors of the building, and the characteristic smell of new and never used books filled the entire environment. The lady was chuckling, "bout time they got some youngins here! I am Greta and would love to come in and bring you gals some lunch." She pushes in the cart with me; she looks so kind. She brought a spread of two different soups, sandwiches, and chips with various dips. Winnie chose tomato basil and grilled cheese, which all look so good that I have a sample. When done, Winnie thanks Greta and runs back to her room.

The book captivated me wholly and I didnt know how many hours passed until a soft knock came on the door. Looking up, I waited for the person to come inside. The door creaked open and a girl in her early 20s came in with a food cart. " Your Lunch," she said softly. " Lunch?" I asked, looking towards the window and then at the clock, yup it was past one already. " Thank you. Umm," I said, narrowing my eyes as if I didn't know her name. " Jenna," she said. " What a lovely name," I said, giving her a small smile.

Luna Martha informed me, handing me a stack of paper which I put on my lap. The title read 'Rules for Dinners’ and it was one of the many books which she had given me to read and study. This book was twenty pages long and it had a load of words and images which told me what to wear, how to act and so forth. I really felt bad for the trees that this book came out of.

It is delicious. "Who the hell is that woman?! She came with our handsome cold boss this morning! Now having lunch with Mr. Gabriel who doesn't even talk to anyone and always looks down on us!" I heard one of the women complaining to the other, while I was standing near the elevator and hearing all these things. I blinked my eyes as I couldn't understand why they sounded jealous of my suffering. I am threatened by both of these men to read 20 huge books that people can't even lift and they are jealous of that?! Is something wrong with them?!
