What followed next was his jacket, stained with my release, and then his tunic followed, becoming a heap on the floor as well. I stared at his muscular form; then he took off his pants. I saw his— “Oh.” That’s not going to fit. I heard a small chuckle from above me, with Baldwin smiling down at me.

But that's not all.” The excitement died as he flipped more pages to find instructions that had accompanied finding lumaris. “Read here.” His index tapped rhythmically on the beginning of a new paragraph. I lowered my gaze again. “Lumaris can only be used by the fire wolf who has been marked by the ice wolf. For she/ he is the last healing wolf of this generation and has the power to contain with the curse.” That didn't sound like a problem. “I'm a fire wolf.” I told him proudly.

The Alchemist wasn't making it easy. He was throwing glass vials of concentrated Blight from his platform, each one exploding into a cloud of toxic gas that made Elias stagger.

The heart let out a final, guttural sound before collapsing in on itself, its energy dissipating into the air.

She assured me. “And you were judging my choice of clothings.” I said smugly as we turned a corner. Emilia visibly relaxed. “I am still judging it but it works.” She said. There was an elevator up ahead so we got in. “Thank you again.” I said. “I still have to ask, why did you agree?” “The Lycan King has ruined many lives. He has the habit of ripping the ground off of someone and planting them somewhere new. He expects them to magically adapt.” Emily replied as the elevator descended.

“You mean—Zaphyr?” Lucy nodded slowly. “He’s grown soft and sentimental. I’ve been patient for months, Crystal. But this? This is our moment. If we kill Zaphyr, I take control of White Snow. You get your full army, I make the Shadow Blood alliance permanent, and we march to crush the Star Raiders and Elena together.” The silence in the room stretched, thick and dangerous. I sat down slowly, heart pounding. “You’d kill your mate?” Lucy didn’t flinch. “He was never truly mine. Just a means to an end.”

He flinches as he answers the question. Heimdall shakes his head a bit as Adrian asks the question. Adrian says "Well I certainly am done here. Lena he's all yours." He steps out from the corner and walks out from the conversation area. Lena turns back, rubs her palms together and shoots a straight beam into Lust's chest from a long distance. A loud "biiitzzzz" comes out from the impact and lust destroys the chair from the blast. A huge smoke comes out from the area where lust sat. All their eyes widened in surprise as her beam made a loud bang with the body of lust. He scrreches in pain as he got severely burnt by the blast.

Luckily, Lanton is not in any of my classes, which is a huge relief to me. I manage to concentrate in class just fine, but right at the end of class, I see him again when I see the driver already standing in front of the school with that ridiculous flashy limousine, the driver, one of Lestari's gangsters, is standing there, waiting in a robotic way, probably regretting joining the mafia. I bet if he had known before that he would be babysitting the boss's son, he wouldn't have joined.
