Why was the Light different? "Father?" The light woke him up from his reverie. "Let's go home!" She said leaving the room. Luz looked at her grandmother, wondering if her father suspected something. Her heart began to feel distressed, as she got ready to leave, her legs trembled. “Grandma, do you think Dad saw Atlas?” asked Luz, Fernanda suspected so. “No, daughter, if he had, he would certainly be interrogating you right now,” he replied, preferring to spare his granddaughter from becoming distressed and ending up feeling ill.

Jude went straight to the garage, sat in his black DMax and sped off lightning-fast. I climbed to the second floor and came upon dad’s office. The room was always very cold without him in it. My uncle has helped me collect many rare species throughout his travels. There is a lot of space in here and it’s probably a little bigger than the size of a football field. I close the door behind me. Where is he? My eyes scan the tiny living room. All lights inside are out save for a single light bulb hanging from the side of the wall. Father, but he is nowhere to be found. Only his owl, Ava is there, her white feathers glowing in the dim light. She gives me a hoot and flies off. Wait! I run after her, losing one side of Drake’s shoe in the process. Please, please let Father be alright. Ava sweeps through the living room, past the tiny dining area and finally flies out the backdoor. Desperation had been building up all along but it peaks as I chase after Father’s beloved owl. Mist covers my eyes, I am crying. Please, please take me to him.
