Romans & histoires Lycan King's Second Chance Mate

"I am too repelled by you to give you a second chance. Go away and never come back." "Please! Please, I beg you." I fell on my knees, crying even harder now. I knew that none of my tears would soften his heart but I tried regardless. Maybe somehow in his stoned heart, there could be even a tiny ounce of soft spot for me. "Are you deaf, Eve?" He kept a straight, cold face. " Incase you didn't hear correctly, let me repeat my words to you. I, Lycan Stefan, reject you, Eve, as my mate. Get over it."

Evelyn asserted. "Now that everything's over, what's next?" Levi inquired. "We go home and have a drink," Sebastian suggested, a big smile on his face. • • • • • • • • • • • • • Six months had passed since the intense battles that reshaped the dynamics of the Lycan wirld. Levi, despite the opportunity to ascend as the alpha, relinquished the position, entrusting the rule to Sebastian, who now stood at the helm with Mia as his mate. The decision was not merely a strategic move but a profound acknowledgment of trust and camaraderie forged through trials.

I tried my best to keep my eyes off him, but the intoxicating scent of him kept pulling me back unconsciously. “I suspect he’s our mate, Ellie, but isn’t it uncommon to have a second chance mate this quick?” my wolf, Ru, asked, but I shut her out quickly. I was wondering the same thing before she spoke, and I needed to know what that meant for me, and my future, being the Lycan King’s mate, but I couldn’t dare ask. The Lycan King was not Vito, they were two different wolves with different authorities, and if the rumors I’d heard about the king were true, then he was very strict, merciless, and straight-up evil.

“You’ve been carrying this burden for too long. But you’re not the same woman you were then, and Darren, Elara, whoever else they’ve got on their side won’t touch you. This is a Lycan king's promise to his mate.” “Eros...”

On the other hand, I didn’t believe on Alex’s words, calling me his mate. Alex is known as the most ruthless Lycan king ever. Calling me his mate seemed just a mockery to me and thus I knew I would be subjected to probably even more severe pains under his hands. Being an Omega, I knew it would be even worse for me. But did that mean I go back to the heartless Lucas who betrayed me with my best friend Kiran? Not now not ever in my life. I would choose to be subjected to pain by a stranger than suffering torture and humiliation in the hand of the person whom was ever my mate and promised to protect me whatsoever but later turning to betray me. “Everly, Alex can never be your fated mate. You ar

she blurted out. “What?” I heard him scream. Was he surprised? He should be happy that she was carrying his baby. Wait, it occurred to me that she wouldn’t be able to bear him a child since she wasn’t the king’s mate. How did she get pregnant? “Hehe!” I laughed out loud. “Congratulations to you, my queen.” “What are you saying, Maria?” he asked, grabbing her. “Enough of your drama,” Lycan King said. “I have no time for this. Since I found my mate in your pack, I will pardon you and give you more time to find the killer.”

King Reagan Maximilian Valor, the tyrant king of the Lycan Kingdom. And he… he was unexpectedly my mate. I don’t want to hope too much, but since the day he came to the auction hall. I never knew I would be greedy. I want his love. I want his attention. I want everything he could give me. That dream is impossible to have. He was my mate; I should sit next to him and become the queen of this kingdom, but my fate is different. I’m here to be his breeder. My sole duty is to give him an heir.

He chuckled, “I’m Thane Valtor, the Lycan King, your mother’s mate.” My jaw dropped to the ground as I stared at him. Holy fucking fuck!

Then I looked at her with deadly coldness before speaking in a serious voice that everyone heard clearly "I, Alexander Morganth, King of the Lycans..." I paused for a few short seconds before continuing "I reject you as my mate, Maria."

Just as Lyra was about to lie down and rest, the door opened again. The Lycan King strode in, carrying his powerful presence. "Mate, mine," Ardan growled, eyeing her body hungrily. Lyra felt a tremor in her core, she didn't know why. She took a deep breath, struggling to steady herself. The Moon Goddess had been too kind to her. Her first mate was a powerful alpha wolf, and now, after enduring hellish rejection, her second mate was the even mightier Lycan King. But what would he ultimately do to her? Lyra could no longer bear Ardan's intense gaze and spoke up, "King, do you intend to accept me?"
