Lyon By Jordan Silver Novels & Stories

“You’ve saved me from sleepless nights.” She stood and moved toward the door— Then stopped. Slowly, she turned back and sat down again. The healer frowned slightly. “Is something else troubling you, my Luna?” Lyria hesitated, then lowered her voice. “There is… another matter,” she said carefully. “I need your help.” The healer leaned forward. “Go on.” Lyria swallowed. “I need something that can be mixed into food,” she said quietly, “something that can kill quickly… without leaving any trace.”

She lied, waiting to gauge his reaction. He struggled to remember who it was, and she decided to help him. “He must have been here before Ron, Father. The one directly before him.” A few more seconds passed before he snapped his finger when the memory came back to him. “Oh you're in luck. That was Alex William. The Lycan is your friend?” She hadn't even known he was a Lycan, but she bid her chances with her father's intelligence and responded in the affirmative. “I didn't know he was your friend. That's the most powerful Lycan alive, despite how sad the story of his path to becoming one of our kind is. I guess you know that… you said he's your friend, so I guess you know the story.”

Jordan A perfectly disoriented Quincy is worth trading grands to get in the front view row. His eyes are blown out in complete perplexity. They are electric, a charged mixture of amassed horniness. His silenced fractured gasp added to his pulchritude. “Jordan, the fuck are you up doing?”

Knowing that this was all for the bigger good of the family, Jordan took a deep breath and forced his ire down. The most important thing he had to do right now was to fool Zayn into giving up the money. As for payback? Well, he had time. With that in mind, Jordan smiled. “This is Liber Pater’s Les Liberalia. If you like it so much, Zayn, I’m happy to procure more for you.” “Really? Thanks! Ten bottles for me, please,” Zayn said, cracking a toothy grin.

When I hid from Xander, I often ended my nights here before going to bed. Lynn’s eyes sparkled, and she watched the bugs fly close to the ground and tickle her face. “Thanks for this. I think I needed it.” “Any time.” It wasn’t much, but I was glad it cheered her up. A noise in the woods made all the fireflies land on flowers or tall grass. I twisted my head to see who was coming when I noticed a big Lycan staring our way. I felt Lynn stiffen but relax when she saw its presence didn’t bother me. As the beast came closer, I distinguished Jordan's thick reddish coat and black amber eyes. He was probably patrolling the sector and saw us.

Orion shouts, but I am too busy to look around at my mate. When I reach Jordan’s clothes, I feel around until something sharp grazes my skin. It burns my skin, and I quickly pull away. Throwing all the clothes to the side, I find a small silver knife lying beneath the clothes. "Stop!" I yell, but Jordan moves his head towards Orion’s neck. He opens his mouth, and it’s like time is moving in slow motion. Jordan’s teeth reach Orion’s neck while I rush towards them with the knife in my hand.

" Her voice was broken and her heart was flooded with sadness. "For power." Gritting his teeth he said while withdrawing the sword. Though the sword can't kill her, it can make her weak. And it was their plan. Jordan rushed to her and held her before she collapsed on the floor. "I'll kill you whoever you are." Jordan roared in rage. And Lionel scoffed at him. "Don't overestimate yourself. Have you noticed what I'm holding?" Lionel held out the Dragon Sword with a wicked smile. "If it gets through your body it won't take much time to kill you." Saying that he laughed maliciously.

I shrugged, sniffling back tears. “Well, whatever he is, Nyra, he still had the nerve to kidnap our father,” Rylan said, betrayal sternly echoing in his voice. “Rylan, please… Lyon probably reacted this way because I bit him,” I pleaded, joining my hands together. “I just need to speak to him and get him to calm down— or even find out why this connection between him and Odette exists in the first place.” “No,” Sylver finally spoke, his eyes burning with rage and pain. “Lyon still has to die.”

They came through the door like they were expecting an invasion. "What is it? What's wrong?" Of course, Logan led the charge. Cord had the kid there with him, and at my raised brow, he sent him out of the room. "Go wait out there, kid." He pointed to the general area of the living room. "You leave this house; the lion Connor keeps in the backyard will eat your scrawny ass." The kid bleated like he really believed that shit.

“That’s true, now I am the Luna of the Karin and the firstborn of the Noar, the two greatest packs in Romania. Not everyone is born with a destiny sealed in royalty like mine.” I saw the smile vanish from Lyun’s face and caught a muffled chuckle from Rayan. “Well, my congratulations.” Lyun said, readjusting her posture. “May the Goddess bless the rest of your life at the son of Roamur’s side.” She lifted her chalice in a toast and turned to leave. Rayan raised his chalice back, and that was the last time I saw Lyun at the feast. She disappeared into the crowd of wolves with her hair dancing like flames, and I wished I could murder her right there.
