Ephemeral -- A Modern Love Story revolves around a woman named Soleil navigating through the annals of life as it coincides with the concept of love that was taught to her by her Uncle: that love can be written on sticky notes, baked into the burned edges of brownies, or found in the triplet progressions in a jazz song. A story in which she will realize that love goes beyond the scattered pieces of a puzzle or the bruised skin of apples.

Ryan Smith was known as the Ruthless Rockstar in the world. His fame and success crossed the boundaries. He was a stunning and wealthy singer. But the music that brought him prosperity also developed an arrogance in him. Instead of blood, ego and dope of fame rushed into his seams. Across the seven seas, Tara Sharma was a simple girl, living a normal life with her family. She was calm and confident. She was a brilliant student of engineering, studying hard to achieve a scholarship in a prestigious university for her master's. Her dreams are to accomplish success in her life. I was dancing in my bedroom when the door open by Dominic and suddenly the music stopped I turned around and smiled shyly "Is there a problem Mr. Russo ? " yes there is a problem, your shaking your ass when you be should be paying attention to my daughter " I hanged my head in embarrassment as he stared down at me " I'm sorry Mr. Russo but Emily is asleep and I got caught up in the music while I was studying. How stupid of me I should have locked the door properly "Its ok but to make it up to me I want you to do that same dance you were doing" what? did he just ask me to dance for him. "Ok" I pressed the play button on the the laptop, I started to dance then it and the music stopped again. "No no I want you to dance you to dance on me" I was shocked, did my boss/ Mafia king asked me to dance on him. "Ook" He walked over to the chair and sat down I started the music again before walking towards him and climbed over him. Before I could start he grabbed my hips and pulled down so I was sitting on his lap. "Start" He demanded. I then started grinding on him slowly moving my hips to the beat, I sudden felt him getting hard as it poked my heat. "Your playing a dangerous game Mr. Russo" I said as I danced on him.

The music made the speakers tremble, the floor vibrated with the rumble of the sound and the jumps of the crazy people. Each one in their own world, dancing together, dancing separately. Enjoying music, company and alcohol. I danced alone, with a drink in hand. Gliding, moving my hips to the rhythm of the music, not paying much attention to anything or anyone around me. Just enjoying that moment of inner peace that I was needing and he was giving it to me. It was a respite, a window that I opened myself in my own cage to let in air and I knew that as soon as I left the club the window would close and I would lock myself back in my world without fresh air. Therefore, he enjoyed everything he could. Alone. With eyes closed. Sweating the bad energy that others left me and breathing the good vibes that I had to give myself. They were approaching me. I drove them away. They invited me. I rejected them. they spoke to me I silenced them. I just wanted to dance and they were going to have to respect that. It was amazing how loud music could be my oxygen tank. It silenced my thoughts, freed me from tensions. There was nothing more relaxing in my life than dancing with my eyes closed and the volume turned up to a thousand. I twirled, I jumped, I wiggled, I hummed, and I sang. The brightly colored lights flickered making it difficult to see, but it was what I liked the most, going blind for an instant, forgetting that I had the ability to see the world, a false, disastrous and difficult world.

The story revolves between Ryu and Yuka who are in their twenties. Ryu is a college dropout pursuing music production while Yuka is on her final internship.

Two exes—who haven’t spoken in years—are forced to swap apartments for a month due to a housing mix-up caused by a mutual friend. She moves into his stylish city loft; he ends up in her cozy small-town house. At first, they leave petty notes criticizing each other’s lifestyle (like “Who needs this many candles?!” and “Why do you own a sword?!”). But soon, they start rediscovering each other—through texts, video calls, and unexpected visits.

After a tragic accident Charlotte was left in a coma for several years, when she wakes up she has no recollection of who or what she was including anyone she knew. Throughout the book Charlotte goes back to her home town and buys her old house - without knowing it- whilst meeting the man she was married too, Daniel Stern. Charlotte starts to get flashbacks of her life before the coma, when she starts to research and come into contact with old friends and people in the small town she now lives. Daniel Stern is heir to a billion-pound legacy, head of an estate agents and Charlottes former husband. He doesn't know Charlotte has woken from her coma until she walks into his office looking for a house. His journey throughout the book consists of trying to hide how he tarnished their marriage by taking up a mistress, now his secretary and running away from Charlotte when things got tough through alcohol, drugs and sex, trying to forget she existed. Someone starts to leave mysterious notes and gifts inside Daniel's apartment and Charlottes house causing Charlotte to run to the police and another man’s arms. After several weeks of quiet and no more notes, Charlotte disappears and it’s up to Daniel to find her. After a one￾manded rescue mission and a big secret revelation a lot of skeletons come out of the closest.
