Loud music boomed from inside, and half-dressed women danced in every corner, laughing like demons in hell.
I stormed through the room, kicking open the door to a room reeking of drugs. There he was Maxello, sniffing white powder off a table, a nearly naked woman beside him, her hands all over him.
The instant he saw me, the woman scrambled out of the room in fear. But Maxello didn’t even flinch. He kept sniffing, grinning like a fool high on poison.
I didn’t waste a second. I grabbed him by the collar and yanked him up, choking him with my other hand. “Where is Mia? What did you do to her?” I growled, each word seething with rage.
