A Bride For The Don

A Bride For The Don

"You will have to sign the code of omertà too and get branded as belonging to the mafia. I did not want to tell you all these but I knew if I did not, you will definitely find out one way or the other. And as for finding out your exact location on the day you almost got raped, it was actually very easy. I had one of my underbosses track your smart phone location. They do more complicated work like hacking into the government data base for political reasons so tracking you down was not hard" "What does the code of omertà entails?" I sucked in breath. "You will be monitored by the mafia. Your day to day location, calls, texts, emails will be monitored by the mafia. You must not be seen with th

MAFIA CEO'S OBSESSION

MAFIA CEO'S OBSESSION

The mafia side built empires on the things those systems couldn't see. By 7:45 I was in the Maybach again, heading to the Bronx warehouse. Marco drove silent. I scrolled messages ,rival moves in Queens, a shipment delay in Jersey, a name I hadn't heard in years Enzo Bianchi surfacing in whispers.I closed the tablet. Some ghosts you didn't chase. You waited for them to come to you.Warehouse district smelled of rust and salt water. Luca waited outside the loading dock, cigarette between his fingers."Boss," he said, falling in step. "Everything's accounted for. No leaks.""Good."Inside crates stacked high, men in black jackets unloading discreetly. I walked the rows, checking seals. One crate h

One Night, Now He Wants Me.

One Night, Now He Wants Me.

There had been a clash of mafia gangs in Italy, there were all fighting each other on who was to take control of things. The Capo for the Louie Salvador gang, had been assassinated 20 years ago. All family members crushed to death, thes few that escaped were handed over to the authorities. They ended up dying during torture, as they choose to practice Omertá (the code of silence that forbade them, from revealing anything to the authorities). “Why are they making a ruckus, after such a long time?” I murmured to myself, as I scrolled further down on the news article I was reading.

Death's Favorite

Death's Favorite

"And what's that?" ‎She suddenly placed a hand on her chest and shook her head slowly. "Oh, I cannot say. It's been ruled out as an Omerta, as I've heard. And you know, the walls have ears. I do NOT want to get in trouble, my life's perfect and simple as it is. I'm too old for a 'new' kind of adventure." She added sarcastically. ‎ ‎Omerta: a codename for 'silence' or not to tattletale an organization's secretive works.

THE LIES THAT BIND

THE LIES THAT BIND

I held her closer and began. “Anastasya, first and foremost I would want you to know that as a mafia, we have a code which governs us. I just had to do the best I can to avoid being around you so I wouldn’t be seen as a threat, how do I mean? You know I’m not the only one in power over here, the rest of the men are watching and also everyone had eyes on you the very day you stepped foot into this home. I never did any of that with the aim of hurting you so dearly as I’ve seen you’ve been, but I promise you that everything would be alright. Okay?” I replied. My voice clouded the atmosphere as she hissed almost latent and felt so uncomfortable with the outcome of my words. She wasn’t assured a

(Not) His Sugar Baby

(Not) His Sugar Baby

Just like a mafia, there are some rules that cannot be ignored. A mafia member should not introduce themselves directly to friends, except through a third party. Loyalty is number one, they are not allowed to flirt with the wives of fellow members. Not to be seen close to the police. Not allowed to go to nightclubs. Must always be on standby. Promises are always fulfilled. A wife must be treated with respect. When asked about any information, the answer must always be correct. It is strictly forbidden to accept money that belongs to other colleagues.

I chuckled, and looked at him. “Why The Devil's Brotherhood?” I asked. “Well,” he began, “Devil's are cold blooded, and in order to be in my gang you have to be able to forget.” “Forget what?” I wondered, and adjusted my self on the bed. “Forget all the wrong you’ve done,” he admitted, and looked down. “How much wrong does the job come with?” I asked. “A lot,” he sighed. He yawned, and ran a hand through is hair. “You know,” Ken paused,”We’ll talk more tomorrow.

Don Maxim's Plaything

Don Maxim's Plaything

“This is a dangerous world, Livia. You’re in the fucking Bratva. Here, we live by the code of silence. You can never speak of what you hear or see to people who are not in the family and there is only one way out…” I knew what he meant to say. I had already broken the code of silence of the Cosa Nostra. I wasn’t going to upset two oragnized crime syndicates. I was smarter than that. My beef wasn’t with them. “It’s death because this isn’t some sort of sorority or a club that you can decide whether you want to be a part of or not. You’re in it for life. If you’re a snitch, you will regret the day you were ever born.”

Mommy, Please Love Daddy

She looked even more devastated. "Purity cannot find out about this, you cannot tell her, she would start hoping for something that can never happen, and I do not want to disappoint my daughter like that." She told me, and I just nodded. "Do not worry, I already know that. I am sure Sofia knows not to say a thing without asking about it first. She is used to the Omertà law already." I explained. She raised a brow. "What is that? Omertà?" "A code of silence. Basically, a vow not to speak of the happenings in the Brotherhood to an outsider, even with a gun to your head." I answered and she just swallowed, then relaxed, saying nothing.
