Selene screamed; a look of horror etched deeply on her face. Damion yanked the blade out of my body and I coughed blood as I dropped to my knees. The silver poison burned through my veins and crippled my strength. "It is over you mongrel!" Damion bellowed. Time seemed to slow as I looked up weakly and watched as Damion lifted the sword high above his head, ready to bring it down upon me. "DAMION!" Selene's voice echoed around us, it was filled with such rage that it caused both Damion and me to look at her.
