I had a slight suspicion that I would never forget that. While Miguel was still lying passed out on my couch, I started cleaning the dirt. That would have taken hours on end to make all the blood that hid in the corners of the walls disappear completely, so I released the magic once again, gushing magenta shadows all over the place where the blood was, making it disappear at once. I didn't worry about the outside. I knew that the rain would cause the blood to flow through the culverts and go away from human sight until dawn, since the torrential storm was still at its peak.

Magnus questions, his brows knitting together in confusion. Morgana leisurely crosses the distance between us, and stops at my feet before she explains, “A little alpha blood can go a long way in providing magical energy for the spell. But you’ll wish you were dead, Elara. That’s how much it’s going to hurt. And that scar on your arm will likely remain forever.” I find her words uncomfortable, and the look on Magnus’ face says he feels the same. “You’re performing blood magic? You said it was advanced alchemy,” I say, accusation evident in my tone.

Mage reminded her. "And the way you took the kick from Ronan, I can understand that your father and mother's werewolf blood runs strongly in you. That is why you were able to pull that tree away from Maya." Mage reminded her. Because she had forgotten that horrible moment. "Yes, I am strong ... now." She whispered not all that happy about it. But suddenly she felt a presence and her body made her swiftly react. Mira turned to see a sphere coming right at Mage and something changed inside of her. Mira almost immediately grabbed it, even before it could touch Mage.

A thin line of blood welled up, bright and vivid. She let it flow. With absolute hemokenesis, the blood didn’t drip. It rose. Defying gravity, the crimson liquid floated upward in elegant ribbons, twisting in zero-g spirals like living silk. The air around it shimmered with power. Celeste’s voice was soft, commanding, ancient. “Ketsukagami.”

“Oh, but you did. Your fire woke it. The boy carried sleeping blood. Old blood. The kind the Council thought was gone. And you, my dear, pulled it out of him like pulling thorns from skin.” I shook my head hard. “No. He was just Damon. He was normal.” Magnus laughed, low and cruel. “No one is normal when they stand too close to you. You are the spark that wakes the dead blood. You make the buried rise.” Damon groaned, clutching his chest. The glow spread across his neck and jaw, his veins shining silver like rivers of light. His body shook as if something inside him was tearing free.

Crescent's p.o.v I noticed Maggie’s presence behind me, I quickly tossed over a little bottle to Luna, the bottle contained the only thing that could end Kovie's existence, Maggie's blood. Maggie used her witch's dark spell, to create foggy like hands which strangled me, she raised me above my feet. Her eyes glowed in pure darkness, unleashing the other part of hers which she hid from me, her real truth. “Hey boyfriend” she muttered menacingly.

She’s tall, her long red hair gleaming like fire in the fading light, eyes the same burning shade. Her staff—deep redwood carved with runes—shivers in her grip as she kneels beside him.

Your transformation isn’t random—it’s in sync with the moon.” “The Blood Moon,” Darius added grimly from where he stood guard. “The moon of reckoning.” Ava looked up. Already the sky had begun to change. The moon, once a cold silver, had taken on a reddish hue. Faint, but visible.
