Mage Tank Novels & Stories

Now, it looked like the staging ground for the apocalypse. The Vanguard Behemoth sat dead center in the plaza, its massive micro-fusion reactor venting plumes of superheated steam into the cool air. The depleted uranium treads had completely pulverized the pristine marble paving stones, leaving deep, jagged trenches of crushed rock in its wake. The tank’s thick armor was scarred and blackened from plasma burns, and the twin railguns on its apex smoked faintly. Around the massive siege engine, the Ironhead militia had set up a perimeter.

The wind picked up, colder now, and the first drops of rain began to fall. Sera reached into her other pocket and pulled out a small silver ring. Marcus's ring. The one he'd worn since the day they'd recognised each other as mates. She pressed it to her lips, tasting salt from tears she didn't remember shedding.

I smirked. I turned back to the gun collection picking and choosing our favourites, "Autocannon, Bolt Pistol, Lasgun, Pulse Rifle, Lancer Pistol and lastly, for you Jack, a heavy bolter." I walked back to the table where the hologram was displayed. "Vehicles, the Rezvani Tank, Telsla Model S and lastly, Lexus Black Panther," Tyler stated.

She was most likely a mother figure towards his mates. The scent of pine and blood made him cringe as it suddenly bombarded his sense of smell. The door swung open and his...pack mate and companion, Trent stood in the threshold, breathing harshly and glaring. "War where the fuck are you? We need to get out of here now. Alpha got into it with some dumb assets," Trent turned his head slightly in interest, staring at the woman with an odd expression."You...do I know you?" He questioned her, as he sauntered over to the irate woman.

I knew for a fact that every mage was stronger than me. I saw that almost the majority of them could control fire or water. I turned my gaze to the other part of the arena where some were practising controlling the air, letting snow swirl up and controlling the tempo. After the fire fiasco, everyone was probably more or less trying to restrain their powers. Manifesting a small amount, enough that will allow them to practise. A member of the clan, a roguish-looking man, came and placed a bowl of water wordlessly, then left before I could utter my gratitude.

But this time they were bound for disappointment, for Maggie wasn’t in the know. “I have no idea Pete,” Maggie shook her head with a confused expression. Orange Monk was a Strength New Type. Facing an Agility New Type like Blue Mantis wasn’t very advantageous to him. In cases like this, it was best to take out your weapon so that you could prepare for the opponent’s attack. But Orange Monk wasn’t doing this very logical thing. Rather the man was keeping his sword to himself, an action that would cost him a second or two and could be vital in a match like this.

The least he could do was to not come home looking helpless. In the privacy of the hangar, Dakari tried. Nothing happened for a minute, then he began to feel the pain of muscles stretching, bones shifting. He stood before them as a tiger, his nose high in the air. “If that isn’t the most arrogant smile a tiger ever had,”. Penny teased. “But you’re a biggum. I might need to take the others home and come back for you later in the day.” Maggie laughed, beaming at her brother. Her heart felt so full to have him back. “Oh, by the way, I have a mate now,” she said quickly, trying to sneak it past him. She shifted quickly to avoid the flush creeping up her neck.

The Chimera turned back as she Removed the gun which contains the silver bullets. The Chimera shot out a tentacle and hits it off her hands, he grabbed her leg and smashed her on the ground. It made to thrust in tentacle into her mouth but Maggie jumped the front of it and caught the tentacle forcing her claw into it. Two tentacles tied her immediately and the Chimera places it claw on her neck. Ezra punched Elsa away and kicked Aiden too. Tara leapt with fire to hit the Chimera so it will release Maggie but it hits her away.

The fact that he trusted her to do this didn’t change the fact that she didn’t trust herself. The three of them stayed in the wheatfield for a few hours, eating what was left of the foodstuffs from Nya’s bag and drinking water from canteens. Slate and Flint discussed the battle that was sure to ensue and how best to combat the Beelzanborg army. Now that the power of the stone was with them, Slate would be able to wield its power from anywhere, as soon as Nya put it in the chest in his castle. At the moment, she had control of the power because the Heart of Magic was in her possession. Its greatest power would be giving the dragons the ability to fly, and Slate was confident they were well on
