A Contract The Empire Couldn't Break

A Contract The Empire Couldn't Break

“It’s molting.” Nathaniel smiled faintly. “That’s an image I won’t forget.” “Good,” she said. “Because growth isn’t elegant. It’s exposed.” He nodded. The empire had not fallen. It had shed something. Control was no longer centralized. Power no longer traveled through favors. Leadership no longer relied on silence. What replaced it was slower. Heavier. But harder to fracture. The redistribution was working. Not because it was liked. But because it was being lived.

The Dragon's Empire Book 1

The Dragon's Empire Book 1

Empire shifted tectonically under Kenji's chessboard; my pieces no longer pawns. Evening found him in lounge depths, scotch amber glowing city-veined glass, obsidian gaze lifting as stilettos clicked approach. No words—just stare loaded double-meanings, dragon pulse leaping throat under my dissection. Vengeance sealed blood ties, stalking forged new chains. Tension simmered, no boil, slow burn, atmospheric lethal—his to ruin, mine to claim.

The Empire I Claimed

The Empire I Claimed

I looked at him, my vision blurring slightly. He stood and took a velvet box from a servant, opening it. Inside was not a diamond ring, it was a pure gold family ring. "Isabella," he said, his gaze steady and intense. "This ring represents half of the power of the De Luca family. "I place it in your hands." "From today on, you are not only the heir of the Costa family. "You are also the lady of the De Luca family." I looked at him. At the man powerful enough to shake the entire mafia world, then standing before me, offering half his empire without hesitation.

Her Empire, His Terms.

Her Empire, His Terms.

Lorenzo’s hand instantly flew to the holster beneath his jacket but I raised a hand stopping him. I looked at Luke, completely unbothered. I had been hearing his pathetic insults since I was a child. He was a weak spoiled child. He had the legacy, but I had the brains and the brutality. That’s why our father had passed him over to let me run the empire until I completely took over kicking my own father out of the board seat. "Keep drinking, Luke," I said smoothly, not even slowing my pace as I walked past the staircase. "Maybe one day you'll finally drink enough to forget that I own the roof over your head."

EMPIRE

EMPIRE

The student body went into applause. “Any question?” Chloe asked “What was behind the name Empire?” Cami was the person to ask the question. Yes Cami was still in school, she was still a grade away from graduating high school. “That is a great question. Empire was the name of my late Godmother; I owe her a lot so I named everything I own after her.” Chloe replied with a smile

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

’ Ginika closed his mouth, not knowing when he opened them. One of the women came and halted her horse beside the man in black. They whispered in a low tone before the man continued, “Majic, as we all know, has been abolished from the land. But because of the hordes of demons that threaten to break our world, every day, the emperor had handpicked a body to Fight this abomination.” Ginika growled at the way the man pronounced the word ‘magic’, it made him remember the day Zahra had pronounced ‘affle’ for ‘apple’, the taskmaster had whipped her mercilessly, and she took ill for about three weeks.

Raven the lurker
I have gotten used to read female lead stories from her so this time when it is male lead it's quite a refreshing and interesting change up. The start is promising and very well written and it's not the typical type of a novel so give it a chance as this author never ceases from surprising you.
Guavaman Guavaman
I've been following Dentot for a while now, and I must say, she never ceases to get me hooked on her stories! The change of perspective to a male lead is quite refreshing.. I'm expecting more action packed scenes and of course a bit of sexy stuff - maybe a lot of it would be good!

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

It was something her father decided to share, making it look like it was the only way to send secret letters with magic. Depending on the family, the magic they had was different. There was Arcane magic, enchantment magic, summoning magic, holy magic, world magic, demonic magic, and pure magic. While the royal family and the Kristen family used Arcane magic, the Adamantine family used enchantment magic. The church used holy magic, gods used world magic, magical beings used pure magic, and last she heard, the Empire of Illumine specialized in summoning magic and demonic magic.

The Tyrant Emperor and his Eccentric Mage

The Tyrant Emperor and his Eccentric Mage

During their talk they didn't realise that way beneath them, in the farthest garden where Alexis and Hector studied, something interesting was happening. "That's impossible!" Hector argued back to an equally enraged Alexis. "Then how did that happen?" She roared back, pissed that he so easily wrote her words off as a lie. "It couldn't have. There's no way that would happen! This is shadow magic we're speaking about. It's rare Alexis. The Empire only sees three users every year" Hector was basing it off facts. It was how he usually did things and it seemed like the only sensible way. But, he had to admit, Alexis had a crazy amount of mana which seemed to turn to just about any shade that woul

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

I declared proudly, not hesitating to praise my own abilities. "Yes, Lord Baron is a mage," Aldo confirmed, as he observed Emmanuel's stunned expression. Emmanuel's astonishment was understandable. Mages were an enigmatic and rare breed, their abilities shrouded in mystery to those outside their circles. In the Empire, mages held an esteemed position, their authority and power surpassing that of most others. Emmanuel may have been unfamiliar with mages firsthand, but he was aware of their reputation. Tales of their immense power and influence often circulated in taverns and among the common folk, painting them as beings of unparalleled strength and capability, even surpassing that of knights
