I got to Maya and her friend, I assumed.

He gave me an understanding smile and squeezed my shoulder, shuffling back away from me to give me space. With a deep breath, I took hold of the amulet wrapped around my neck, trying to draw out courage from it. Then I lifted my hands up to the skies and with a loud voice, I cried, “Magentum Propolis!” Light bursts out from my hands, going up into the sky as if to split it in half. Then, like a reflective frame, the beams bounced out of the sky, spreading into different corners of the ground. Like a cage, the light surrounded the whole Pack house and the people under it.
