I murmured.
“Yes,” Dominic said. “It is.”
“Let me guess.”
“Crownbreakers,” we said together.
He signaled security to hold position but not engage. “We accept delivery remotely,” he ordered. “Full scan.”
Minutes later, the envelope sat inside a containment field on the analysis table. Old paper. Wax seal. Broken crown symbol pressed deep. Dramatic, but intentionally so. Power groups use theater the way armies use flags.
“You want to open it,” Dominic said, watching me instead of the envelope.
