Sails woven from starlight waiting for the wind that wasn't really wind.

I held unto the papers tightly like my life depended on it. . the lights suddenly came on and we found grandpa sitting on the couch with a huge grin on his face. "The leprechaun is in motion." The guard smiled. "Go right in." He moved out of the way for the two ladies to pass as Louisa followed her friend, still in a daze. What was this place? The narrow walkway cleared into a bigger one, and then the lights turned on causing Louisa to let out a shocked gasp at the sight that met her eyes. "SURPRISE!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Louisa couldn't believe it. Her arms wrapped around her best friend in a flurry of emotions. She couldn't believe she had forgotten that today was her birthday. Pulling away from the hug, she grinned at her besr friend. "Well played this time Naa, you got me real good."

That was the strangest thing about this mystery. "What happened a week ago?" Belle asked, dreading the answer. "Oh." Damien chuckled. "Now that would be telling." Looking about the room, Belle could hazard a guess. An insanely unlikely one. 'Magic spells only work in fiction,' she thought. Still... what other explanation was there? If she were crazy, surely she wouldn't be aware of her condition. Crazy people don't know they are crazy. "Whatever you've done, please make it stop," she asked, staring at him with pleading, tear-filled eyes.

"But it is very dangerous, Erica! your life will be in danger if you will get the Magical Items!" Jose said.

Mia repeated these words to herself in her mind as the witch went on with the incantations. Suddenly, the symbols on the parchment erupted into a vibrant, glowing vortex of light while it was still placed on Mia's stomach. Mia gasped as she felt herself being pulled toward it, her very essence drawn into the whirlpool of the dark magic. She had entered a realm where reality and illusion blurred, a place where the boundaries between life and death were mere threads. This was far from what she expected. Mia thought it would just be simple magic and it was done but this was too much, this was scary and this was just out of the ordinary. No wonder it was called dark magic and it was also dangero

The school rose from the mist like a castle from a dream—towering stone walls, arched windows glowing with inner light, and an iron gate etched with runes that hummed as they passed through in Gogo's truck. Matilda's head was reeling. She wished she could go back to that evening in the bookstore and reverse the order of events. She would not have performed the spell.
