So when my alarm finally sounds, I feel like hell. This was not how I was supposed to feel this morning. It will be draining on my magic the more I stress. Now I feel dirty inside and that will also contaminate my magic. My magic is supposed to be healing and cleansing (Trey has offence and defense to his magic because the guard has taught him how to manipulate his magic that way) and now I don't know how I'm supposed to make it through my mission.

They zigged and zagged through the courtyard, laughing and screaming as they chased one another. I blinked a few times and steadied myself as the office around me reappeared. It felt like I had just slipped into a day dream, though I knew that magic had taken hold. I glanced down at the page in the book I had turned to, and noticed the child writing about his time in the courtyard with his friend. I had relived the memory on that given page. The information made me curious. Why were these journals enchanted? Could it have been by the boy who had written in them in the first place? Where was he and why was his home destroyed? Was he the one who slashed through all of the pictures?

I wasn’t sure if it was real, or another memory the miasma was forcing me to see. My heart hammered hard as I stepped closer. Something shifted at the base of the trunk. A small, old, weathered brown book was partially buried in the ground. It was the same journal Maureen had written in during the visions shown by the miasma. This was the blood-soaked journal she kept in her final days in the Void. My fingers trembled as I reached for it and the leaves above me rustled. A low growl rattled the air. I barely lifted my head before a towering magical beast lunged from behind the tree, its maw open wide, teeth glistening with black venom and everything erupted into chaos.

Dayanara snorted and brushed past Lyle, walking ahead behind Squall. “Is the curse making you more temperamental?” I laughed and glanced up at Lyle, who was glaring at Dayanara. “I don’t know. But something about her really aggravates me.” “What you are about to see … you can never reveal.” Gunnar’s voice brought our attention to the front. Two large black wooden doors were pushed open. My eyes widened as a magical world map floated around us. You could see movement and clouds rushing over the surface. This was high-level magic.

Brenna “Could you write down the spells for me?” “I already have.” Magenta waved her arm, and a thick book floated across the room and set itself on the table before us. “This is your grimoire. In it, you’ll find all the spells you will need. You can also add to it as you find different spells that you like. That way, it will become yours.” “Thank you.” I ran my fingertips over the leather binding and raised gold letters when I noticed something. “Magenta, this has my name on it.”

“I am going to do something that my mother would be highly upset about. I am going to sit down with you both and help you write a new journal with both the problem and the cure in the same book. This way, you can use it as just one reference manual.” We are surprised by the turn of events that have just taken place. “You would do that for us?” Lawler asks, surprised. “I am going to do that for you. Then we will also make another journal for magical solutions as well. Not full spells of things you will need to know will be in your personal journal. The one I am referring to will be one that you can leave for the future Kings and Queens.” We watch as she looks down at Sydney and then over to T

"The leprechaun is in motion." The guard smiled. "Go right in." He moved out of the way for the two ladies to pass as Louisa followed her friend, still in a daze. What was this place? The narrow walkway cleared into a bigger one, and then the lights turned on causing Louisa to let out a shocked gasp at the sight that met her eyes. "SURPRISE!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Louisa couldn't believe it. Her arms wrapped around her best friend in a flurry of emotions. She couldn't believe she had forgotten that today was her birthday. Pulling away from the hug, she grinned at her besr friend. "Well played this time Naa, you got me real good."

I turned the journal to Gregory he slipped on his gloves and started flipping through the pages. “You see these first pages don’t appear to have anything on them but once you flip about twenty pages in, see look at that.” He was pointing to two pages in the journal that I knew to be a map, with the way the indented lines ran and the darker shaded parts of the pages. It was now time for a little magic show, I didn’t feel good about tricking Gregory, but it was a necessity. I just had to distract him and create a convincing copy to swap with the original. While I was flipping through the journal, I was doing my best to remember the pages so I could copy them with my spell. “You know, I don’t k
