The air in his kingdom was thick with magic, and I could feel its ethereal presence enveloping me. Alpha Roger, with his enigmatic smile, welcomed me. "Aline, you have returned," he said, his voice a melodic resonance. I nodded, a sense of purpose guiding my actions. "I need to understand," I replied, "why you brought me here and why you let me go back." The magician's eyes held a depth of knowledge that seemed to stretch beyond the realms of time and space. "I brought you here, Aline, to show you a world of possibilities. To teach you about the power of choice and the magic that resides within you."

Surprise washed over her face as she stared at the boy with a perplexed expression. "Who are you? And how did you do that?" He silently thought of a lie, he couldn't reveal his true identity. She would never give him her daughter if she knew. Only when he came up with the perfect lie did he respond, "I happen to be a powerful magician. I can heal you but you would have to give me something in return."

The magician had just concluded an impressionable disappearing act, and Saben's wide eyes were stuck with excitement as he clutched Benedict's arm. "Did you see that, Dad? He just made the bunny disappear into thin air!" Benedict smiled. "Yeah, but do you know what the true magic is?" Saben popped up his head. "What?" Benedict pulled Saben even closer and softly declared in that deep, cheerful voice, "No matter how many tricks that magician does, my love for you will never disappear." Saben laughed and chuckled. "Dad, that's so cheesy!" Sabrina just burst out laughing as she pulled them both into a group hug. "Well, get used to it, birthday boy. Your dad is the king of cheesy lines."

As he spoke, his eyes seemed to pierce into my soul, searching for any sign of weakness. I walked away from him, facing the Aeges stone. I really wanted to end his life at that spot, but I just couldn't find a way to make it swift and easy without a struggle from him. Traiceret kitchen!” Suddenly, gold and white sparkles encircled her, forming a mini tornado and engulfed her, causing her to disappear.

Unless it was a high-level magician, most magicians cannot cast long-ranged spells. Sasha returned Zen’s text quickly. According to the sniper, magicians were slow when casting and had to remain unmoving when they were focused. It was up to the others around them to protect their physical body. If they lose concentration, the spell that they were casting would be interrupted and cancelled. Speed was everything, and a magician’s worst nightmare was a sniper like her.

If the magician knew what he aimed, he was sure the coward would escape again. If he couldn’t make it obvious to steal the gem, he could make the magician comes to him instead. In the thought Dominic smiled widely, “You called me wolf and called me disgusting. But isn’t it more pathetic to berate the being who seemed to be much stronger than you— a mere magician?” Dominic spelled his last words deliberately slow, that only fumed more anger as the magician pulled a flask from his pocket, dawning the content in a single gulp. “Don’t you try me, wolf!” Shouted the magician as a shrill scream escaped from his mouth.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a magician passed by him and hurriedly went to the room next to him, rummaging through the papers and glassware inside while cursing. "Shit. Shit. Shit!" Tristan was confused and decided to ask the magician, knocking on the door as the magician jumped in surprise. "Sir Tristan!" He greeted as he bowed. "What is this all about?" The magician paused searching for a moment as he slightly turned to Tristan and looked at him in a confused manner. "Haven't you heard the siren?" Tristan sighed, annoyed. "I did, but what about it?" The magician turned back to his searching and answered him, without hesitating.
