I hated babies. Not in a bad way. I just didn’t want them. Standing in front of that door made my eyes water for some reason. With shaky hands, I held the knob and turned it open, inhaling the vanilla scent that still lingered. Nothing had changed in there. I’d given specific orders to Rosa and instructed her not to touch or move anything.

Then, she walked into the ruins with Laya in her heels. The mage noticed the leftover marble on the floor. Even though most of the wallpaper was gone, whatever was left showed how glorious this castle must have been in the past. She knew that the only explanation to Magnolia’s magic was that she was a pureblood, but she could not explain how. She decided to wait for her new friend until she was ready to share more about her family instead of letting crazy ideas fill her mind—like Magnolia being an illegitimate child of nobles who could not marry for some reason.

Magnolia had worn it first. Savannah read the short article in a daze. Magnolia had vanished without a trace during her engagement to Colton Briggs. Declared legally dead after months of fruitless searching. The room felt colder now. The walls closer. She folded the clipping and tucked it into her blazer pocket, her fingers trembling slightly. When the small black ritual book with what looked like it had, some hand-painted a design on it and a few vials of mystery liquids that had landed safely across the grass of Megan’s older neighbor, Allison. Megan noticed the little black book with what looked like ritual writing all over it. The girl looked like she was ready for the lady to freak out but there was nothing. Sage was not use to that. Most people freak at any weapon, but the Wiccan book usually made people disappear fast.

I am the only person who knows where the book is; the spells are within it.” Marcel nods, sitting down. “What book might that be? The witches lost all of their written manuscripts centuries ago.” He looks at her waiting, Dan still stood on guard.

I tell him. "The birthplace of magic? The book never mentioned that. Though that would explain the Fae's ability to grant others magic through deals," he says. "If you're looking for more information on the world tree I have other books you can read," I say. "Well then after I finish this one you'll have to show me the others," he responds. "Gladly," I laugh.

Morgana said and handed over the book to her. Diana opened the book to the middle page and placed it on the table. "You said you needed a spell right?". Morgana said. "Not actually a spell but anyway it's gonna help". She said. The page of the book displayed the map of the city. It was a power magic book from ancient witches. Diana pricked herself and sprinkled the blood on the book. "It shows me where I want". Diana said. The blood began to disappear mole by mole until only one was left.

Rex announced after his conversation with Fafnir concluded, which only took seconds. “Well…spill it,” Marcia said a little over eagerly and loudly, even Markus’s seemed to perk up, he was sure he was about to witness another piece of unbelievable magic he had only begun to see when he joined the inner circle of the emperor, magics only being possible by the Magnus family.
