Rowan swept through the air with hurricane winds while Lyra's blue celestial flames reduced the trapped creatures to drifting ash. Lucien fought beside Chloe with flawless coordination. His shadows restrained the enemy. Her Blood Moon magic destroyed them. Watching everyone fight together filled me with pride.

The enemy lines stretched ahead—vampires slashing through the shadows, witches hurling torrents of fire, wolves twisting and leaping through the chaos—but his army moved as one, a tide of claws, teeth, and dark magic surging forward under his command.
