she felt waves of magic emanating from them, "someone among them is chanting. She was casting a spell!" "Warriors! Be cautious!" Wyatt's voice thundered, warning his soldiers. His train of thought was interrupted by a sharp pain. "Ah," he growled, "Warriors, the witches are casting spells. We need to neutralize them quickly." While many of the warriors had heard legends about witches and had received repeated warnings from Wyatt during their training, the witches still filled them with dread. With every step forward, the pain inflicted by the incantation seemed to intensify. Some warriors fell, writhing in agony on the ground.

I was different, I was a hybrid, a unique combination of magic and power that could recreate our world. The ground shook, helping our warriors stand strong. The wind roared, clearing out harmful energy. The magical barriers broke easily. Just as we moved forward, dark witches appeared out of hiding. Not the few we expected.

No evening birds sending their eerie calls into the failing light. No sign of life other than these vicious beasts. There were two mages working against their far greater numbers. It took me only a moment to realize that the mages were Hawk and Magus, the mages Warlord had helped escape the Guild under the condition they find and protect his sister and send him word. Hawk wielded a blue light that fed his power. Magus’ was green. But trying to determine who they were actually fighting against was impossible to pinpoint. There’s far too many wolves here to tell which are on which side.

Every world has its strong warriors. You feel so pleased with yourselves just because you haven't met someone truly strong from a third-grade world."

Orfilia's pov Before the battle, there came a silence when everything seemed normal but uneasy. There was nothing to point out a flaw when hussle and practice made it almost perfect. Warm ups and a few practice stunts, a hint of guidance and the warriors were baked under hot sun. I was a trainee and started learning martial arts at a young age. I was the only female warrior from my pack. Although, there were other she wolves who had learned the defensive mechanism in a case of war or attack. But it was my dream to become a warrior. Then it's time to get ready so I quickly put on my warrior clothes and pack a bag. We all gather at the square where the people that stay behind will wave us out. There are 2000 warriors, 10 healers, and 100 magicians that are ready to march. Children and families are saying their goodbyes, so I go find Holly to say goodbye as well. I find her with Gabriel at the square. I give Holly a tight hug and she kisses my cheek and says, "Please be careful and make sure you all come back to me. Keep an eye on my brother will ya?"
