Back in my seat, I leaned back, closed my eyes, and listened to my music with a deep, content smile. Filled. Satisfied. Completely in control. Killy — the queen who takes her pleasure wherever she damn well pleases.

"I didn't expect someone with such high medical skills like you to fall for it. The wine was already laced with my colorless, odorless Mind Tranquilizer! Once you touch it, you're at my mercy for at least twelve hours!" Melanie smirked triumphantly. "So, in terms of medical skills, I'm the winner!" Melanie didn't care about appearances. She was a devout fanatic when it came to medicine. She would do anything to push her medical skills to the pinnacle, even if it meant sacrificing her own body!

"Boy, are you looking sexy this morning! Are you planning to take over the world or seduce every man in sight?!" Melanie laughed, recalling the chaotic events of the previous night. "You know how crazy last night was – very unprepared for. But I'm more than prepared for this." Naomi narrowed her eyes at Melanie clutching Luca’s card firmly. "You were given that card yesterday, and you're already using it for your evil schemes?" Melanie tossed her hair with a chuckle. "My 'husband' gave me the card, and I can use it to buy even you, if I please."

"Stop pretending, Ms. Smith. You're just his ex-girlfriend, after all. Stop thinking of yourself as his wife." Melanie clenched her jaw and forced a smile. "Yves, you don't understand what Hades and I have been through. So, stop spouting nonsense." Yves narrowed his eyes. Before he could speak, Jeff spoke first. "Have you been keeping in touch with Mr. Melvin recently, Ms. Smith?" Melanie was dazed at his question. Yves was stunned then realization dawned on his face. Panic flickered across Melanie's face. "Sir, I don't get you. I've never seen Mr. Melvin before."

Melanie's face looked healthy there, although she was a little thin. "What's that?" Sophia glanced at the phone and Frank alternately. "This is proof that the woman my mother mentioned in your video is not Kara, but you. Do you want to hear it?" Sophia's eyes trembled rapidly. Her neck seemed strangled, sucked in by tightness. "No!" She tried to snatch the phone. However, Frank dodged it first. Smiling meaningfully, he played the video. "Hello, I'm Melanie Harris. Through this video, I want to give a testimony."
