From a safe distance, they watched as the Mer played in the shallow waters near the beach and saw several shift into their legged selves in order to run across the sand. “Oh, look,” Meguitte said, pointing in wonder at a Merman who sat upon a rock, his frilled tail toying in the water, as he combed his long blue hair out. His eyes caught Meguitte’s gesture, and he bared sharply pointed teeth in a grin that was equally flirtatious and dangerous. “Look there,” Thaelen chuckled. “Between the rocks. I guess that answers how Merfolk f-k.” “Thaelen,” she nudged him in the ribs. “Shhh. Don’t be so crude.”

He didn't move or did anything but look at it. One flick of his hand and the wave dispersed into the air. The droplets glowed like silver snowflakes. He turned to display sparkling eyes. Even from a distance, the lavender scleras combined with the pink irises were prominent.

But she guessed the mermen were there too. “She is the pretty girl, huh?” came another masculine voice “Well, here's your package. Bye, we need to get back” and there was a loud splash, followed by another then the dolphins dived in and out and were gone too “Why couldn't I see them?” “The mermen? Yeah, they blend with the atmosphere. That's how they get things for me” Dakar replied and held the box in his right paw up. “Let's get going. It's getting really chilly” Avril stated and rubbed her arms.

Nixie used her magic to move them further to the front door, where Venus knocked and asked for an audience the door was opened to her and so they went in. "Naga, please, my son!" Venus began to cry once they had gotten into the house and while Nixie tried to summon a comfortable sleeping place for Tide, a little Merdragon came bouncing down the stairs. It was the cutest water dragon, with a transparent body and tiny horns, its wings peaking upward, a slim long tail stretched forward nearly 8ft long. Nixie felt the energy from the Merdragon and she bowed immediately realizing she was before the oldest Merdragon in all of Aquarial.

Half of them I never even knew were real, like the Merrow. Merrows are what the normies call a mermaid, except in cartoons they depict them as beautiful and innocent little women with a love for collecting shiny things. Well, Ariel aint got shit on a real Merrow, that’s for sure. Merrows are beautiful both in the sea and on dry land but they are also known for being quite vicious when they feel cornered or when someone tries to stake claim to something that is theirs.
