Sculpted to perfection. While he is still looking down, my eyes roam over his perfectly tanned skin and every carved-out muscle. I see the two swallow tattoos, one on either side of his neck. His one arm is covered in ink, beautiful images and I wonder what they represent and what story they hold. His shoulders are huge and shredded, and his chest… I swallow… I see the top of his rock-hard abs showing above the counter. And my eyes catch something glistening. Is that… a stud? His left nipple has a piercing. My eyes check his other nipple... nope, just one. Why is that so sexy on him?

The reports echoed off the warehouse walls, then faded into the quiet hiss of the sea outside. The two captured men shuddered violently before going limp. Giovanni’s breathing slowed again, but as he turned to walk away, something caught his eye on the skin of one of the men he had just shot. Beneath the torn, blood-soaked shirt of the second man, just under his left breast, was a black ink tattoo. It was bold and had a design of interlocking blades, wrapped around a single symbol he couldn’t place. “Dante.” His voice cut through the stillness.

Then she took a good look at his tattoos. Her gaze traced the ink that stretched across his chest, dark and patterned against his golden skin. The tattoo sprawled over his left pectoral, a fierce black wolf, its eyes red and dangerous, as if it could leap off his skin and bare its fangs at her. The details were breathtaking, each strand of fur etched with perfection.

Immediately, I jerked my eyes upward. Too late. Those butt cheeks can’t leave my head, not for a very long time. I hated that my face was getting hot. Then I noticed the tattoos. A black raven stretched across his back, its wings half-spread on the back of his shoulders as though caught between flight and stillness. On his right shoulder was a black serpent curled over his left pec, glaring at the raven with so much intensity while the raven looked lonely and, worse, sad. More ink trailed across his back. Script. Symbols. Lines disappearing beneath fabric.

“No way. I can take it. This tattoo is important to me, Alex.” I grin at her response. That’s my Stella—stubborn and determined to the core. She bites her lip, and her grip on my hand tightens as the needle continues its work. I stroke her knuckles with my thumb, hoping to ease some of her discomfort. “Just think about how amazing it’ll look once it’s done.” She grins at me. “I can’t wait.” Minutes later, the artist finishes, and the designs are perfect. On my wrist, the heart has the letter ‘S’ inscribed inside, and on hers, an elegant A.

My focus glued to this stranger and my heart beating through my chest with the sensation I’m being chased, stalked, or hunted. He's exactly as the visions showed. Perfect as a man, with good looks, and sculpted physique, a presence that screams dominant alpha male. He’s muscular and tall, covered in black Aztec tattoos which are there for all to see as he once again turns towards us. The large blazing sun sign of the hunter on his left peck, right where I hoped it wouldn’t be and it seals his fate. The symbol has not changed in hundreds of years, and even though this is a tattoo and not burned, carved cruelly on the skin of the hunter, it’s still exactly as it’s always been.

It was a testament to his unwavering dedication to all aspects of his physical fitness. One of the most striking features on Logan's left arm was the anchor tattoo, a symbol known to represent strength and stability, perhaps even serving as a connection to his time in the marine. Yet, what made this tattoo particularly intriguing was an unexpected addition. Just below the anchor, a smaller, seemingly incongruous tattoo came into view. An image of a man, who I could only pinpoint as Michelangelo in my head, came to mind and I could see him sculpturing this Adonis to pure, Italian perfection, and my, what a sight he was.
