Where My Scent No Longer Belongs
Expect to see her in the kitchen, quietly preparing hangover soup like she always did.
But when I tear through the entire Pack house, all I find is death-quiet stillness and cold, empty air.
Our master bedroom sits vacant. Her clothes are gone from the closet. Not a trace of her scent remains.
I race downstairs like a lunatic, grab my parents sitting in the living room, both of them sighing into the silence.
"Dad, Mom,where's Rhea?!"
"Did she go shopping? Where is she?"
I'm desperate. Heart hammering so hard it might burst through my ribs.
