The Assassin's Destiny VII

The Assassin's Destiny VII

He asks us. The men and I shake our heads. Voodoo purses his lips and mutters. “Stalagmites are found in caves. When I commented about it, he pointedly told me that he got it on a trip to the Cenote cavern near the Yucatan Peninsula, which I found odd. Even though I don’t know Irving very well, I can deduce by his dress and manner that he is not the type of man who cruises through caves for fun.”

THE LUNA WHO RUINED HER MATE.

THE LUNA WHO RUINED HER MATE.

He shook his head and stepped inside, pulling her after him. The cave was not dark. A soft, phosphorescent glow came from patches of lichen on the walls, painting everything in hues of blue and green. The air was still and surprisingly warm. The tunnel sloped downward, deep into the mountain’s heart. They walked, the silence absolute, their footsteps the only sound. The tunnel opened into a vast, cavernous chamber. It was not a natural formation. The walls were smooth, carved with the same swirling symbols as the pillar in the pass. In the center of the chamber stood a dais of black obsidian. And on the dais, lying on a bed of stone that was shaped exactly to its form, was a skeleton.

The Tycoon’s Temptress - Red Flower’s Chase

The Tycoon’s Temptress - Red Flower’s Chase

I hesitated for just a breath, then lowered the flame. With a soft whoosh, the liquid caught fire—racing along the groove in a line of gold and amber. The whole chamber came into light, revealing the secrets that had been buried in the dark. The cave stretched about 20 meters long and rose 10 meters high, crowned by a domed ceiling. At the center stood a raised platform, where a stone coffin lay, an empty tomb that had long been opened. Valentina stared at the tomb, wide-eyed, then exclaimed,

The Last Station Standing

The Last Station Standing

Kazimir was elbow-deep in the floor panels, sparks flying as he tried to bridge the connection with a manual jumper-cable. Suddenly, the sub stopped moving. The giant creature let go, its violet light fading as it darted away into the darkness. "Why did it stop?" Jun asked, his face pressed to the glass. Elara looked out. They were no longer in the narrow canyon. They had entered a massive Subterranean Cavern (a giant cave located beneath the seafloor). The walls of the cave were lined with thousands of glowing Isotope shards, creating a cathedral of violet light. In the center of the cavern sat something that defied logic.

Hidden Fire in the Snow

Hidden Fire in the Snow

"I promise, Sophia, the ice of the Himalayas will not freeze our love. We will bring your mother back." By dawn, we reached the rugged peaks of the Himalayas. All around was pure white snow and clouds. Rohing Singh had already arrived there in a special helicopter. He stood at the entrance of a cave and gestured to us. Though the cave looked ordinary, its entrance resembled an ancient stone face identical to the blue dragon of the Moreno lineage. As we entered the cave, we saw that the temperature inside was completely normal. The walls were carved with thousands of years old paintings. Scanning the cave with his mechanical eyes, Lucas said, "Sophia, some ancient technology is active here. I

The Devil's Kiss

The Devil's Kiss

I tried to stop her but she continues as if she didn't hear me so I hurriedly followed her. As we get closer to the monster's location the temperature increases as if we are heading to the pits of hell. I'm starting to understand why this part of the cave is dry because everything evaporates and transforms into steam due to the hot temperature. We continue to walk until we finally reached the center of the cave. There is a massive hole that is formed by the collapse of porous limestone bedrock. It is commonly named cenotes and according to the ancient Mayans, they are also known as the sacred well. It is a perfect hot spring if you ask me except for the ferocious beast bathing in it.

The Secret Moonbird, Hellblades Series Part 2 of 3

The Secret Moonbird, Hellblades Series Part 2 of 3

Exotic fish is bursting colours seemed to beckon us deeper toward a narrow opening hidden in the rock wall. I pushed through first. The tunnel was not as tight, Uncle and the twins would have no problem diving in here. When we finally broke the surface, we weren’t in the lake anymore. We were inside a cavern. The walls were encrusted with raw moonstones, their iridescent surfaces giving off a soft light. At the center of the cave stood an altar of solid, polished moonstone. Resting upon it was an old, thick Book.It vibrated with a silvery, blinding energy that made the hair on my arms stand up.

Jack Frost's Bride

Jack Frost's Bride

Stalactites dripped like icicles from the ceiling and the lair smelled of charred meat. The walls were lit by dragon-flame torches. After twists and turns, they finally came to a great oak door at the heart of the cave, half-buried in a pile of silver. Morozko’s bones tingled. This was it, the deathless lands. They quickly cleared the entrance of treasure and undid the golden latch. Brilliant summer light poured in from the cracked-open doors. Soon, the trio were through the entrance, doors closed behind them.

The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

Amastan took out his machete which was made from bones and leaped into the abyss without saying another word. He utilized his internal energy and drove his machete into the stone wall every 100 meters to reduce the momentum of him falling downward. He finally reached the deepest part of the abyss after almost a minute. Looking at the molten lava at the bottom, he noticed a huge platform the size of a basketball court extended from the stone walls a dozen meters above the lava. There was a narrow solutional cave extended to somewhere between the platform and the stone wall. A spectral figure in wrecked armor sat in the cave. Drenched with blood, his pair of eyes shone with intelligence despit

Luna of St. Maria

Luna of St. Maria

The stalactites cling to the roof of the cave. But no matter how much they cling they are meant to fall down. As the cave walls continue to crack and fall, the stalactites break and descend upon us like little spears being thrown at an extinct Mammoth. The cave paintings break and the timeline of the Wolf People Clan demolishes before our eyes as we hurry along the corridor.
