I think I’m angry with myself for letting him treat me the way he has and at my body’s response to his seductive presence. I bite my lip and think about the dream. The man spoke of Azazel. However, that is not the odd thing about the nightmare, considering I’ve been having a nightmare of me dying before. Not even the fact that I was in the past again. I was in some kind of prohibition-era time this time. The weird part is that I remember the man being in my other dreams. He was the raider in the gladiator dream and the drunken knight in the medieval castle. The only difference between this dream and the ones before is that this is the first time he had spoken to me in a dream.

I woke up feeling sore and I had mixed feelings about my most recent dream. I now knew that Laylan had snuck out more than one night and met a man, but not just any man, a man that seemed somewhat familiar to me. I kept wondering how he was so familiar. They had made love! What had happened between them? How many more times did they meet? Question after question ran in my mind as I sat in my bed thinking.

My vision became clear, and I said with a hint of surprise, “Dr. Frost.” I remembered the scene from my dream and felt a flush of awkwardness. I had just been enrolled in college. Before the semester started, a staff member told me that the dormitories were under renovation, so I was assigned to an apartment by the college. Since moving in, I had trouble sleeping and kept having many dreams. My neighbor, Steven Frost, was a psychologist, so I went to his clinic for help. I had not expected to have such an intense dream during the session. When I thought about the dream I had, my face grew warm again.

His cheeky, eerie grin wasn’t on his face anymore. “What is it? What is going on?” She asked. “I wish I can tell you the meaning of your dreams,” the man started. “But that is something you will have to do in your own. Only you should face that. But there are forces that are going to force you to yield to them.” “Why do you sound like it is more serious than it seems?” “Because it is girl.” The man said, his expression not changing. “Your life is in danger. You are the only one who can help yourself and that is if you are able to decipher the dreams you have been having.”

There was no stopping him. I eventually managed to fall asleep, but my dreams were far from peaceful. A faceless man appeared in my mind, strong arms pulling me close, his touch both commanding and gentle. He whispered something in my ear, but the words were unclear, and before I could make sense of them, he carried me far away, into a place where I no longer had control.

Whenever Esther or Aunt Kitra read me stories of how the men were so in love and how they’d go the extra mile to make their women happy and feel so loved… The stories became so imaginative. Whenever I slept, I saw my faceless man be everything I read from the stories and more… Now, even though I hate to admit it, and my strong woman era is still very much active, I still have the dreams. It’s just—very detailed now. The faceless man has become Emmett— Very detailed. It’s not just the sweet parts in the dreams. I—whatever I saw him do with Sarah in his bathroom the other day—makes me replace Sarah in my dreams.

I ignore his snide remark about the way I am eating and go on to ask my question. 'You know, when I was still in the human realm, I had been having these strange dreams of a man who would appear in my dreams everyday and would be telling me I am his and I could never run away from him, in one dream too, I played with fire without it hurting me so you know, I wanted to ask if perhaps, you were that man plus I do not get why these dreams only started when I reached my twenties.' I tell him, staring straight in his eyes, searching for an emotion but I see nothing.

He walked away . The weirdest part is that all the faces in my dream were clear.Though I don't recognize any face but they were clear.How ever that man's face was blur through out.What does this mean ? Was this dream a sign that my doom was near"or what ? And who was that man.I don't know why I am hovering over that dream.After all it was just a dream.Dreams don't mean anything"right ? I mean they don't have anything to do with reality.Mayb I am thinking to much.I am getting this feeling that this dream was a bad omen or maybe lately I am have been taking a lot of stress.It is possible that this dream was nothing but a face of my stress.Oh"I so need a psychiatrist .

Lifting my gossamer gown slowly above my thighs I looked down to see wetness there, a wetness that did not come from the stream. Sticky, with a hint of arousal. Sudden realization dawned and I shook my head in denial. It can't be, but I knew that it could and is. But why would my mate instill fear in me, and why hadn't anyone told me that the time was near? Granted it can come at anytime and sometimes without warning. Is that why I've been seeing the strange man in my dreams? But who was he? I know most of my people and he did not look like anyone I've ever met. Besides, in my dreams he seems much darker than my kind who happens to be fair.

I placed it on my bed, wrapped around it and slept. All I saw in my dreams was a man getting shit, while I had the gun.
