The Ascension

The Ascension

He was no longer willing to dilly-dally there so he uttered the magic world to the other man. “Nathan. Don’t forget, the book.” 'Book... Book... Book...' The last word Ley said somehow echoed several times in Nathan's mind, entrancing him, yet at the same time, waking him up. And just like that, reminded of the cursed book that made him haunted by evil spirits if not at a close proximity with the masters of the house, Nathan somewhat awakened from his weird state. "Right!" He exclaimed. Of course, the word was not entirely enough to wash away whatever effect he was under in. He did not forget flashed an apologetic smile at Amanda.

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

Matched (Mortal, Book Three)

Matched (Mortal, Book Three)

he says, his tone serious. "I think I know what this is." His brow furrows. "I read about this in one of the books in the school's library. I think it's a pocket dimension." "A pocket dimension?" I shake my head. "What does that mean?" "It's an intentionally—magically—constructed space. One with limits. Boundaries. Usually, they're set up to trap someone or protect something." "Like an all-powerful relic." I exhale all the air in my chest.

Master's Secret Book

Master's Secret Book

She said. "mmmm... Can I see the book? I mean if you want." The prince wanted to see the book. But Chenyin was scared to hand it over. "I promised to master that I- - -" "I won't open it. I will just want to touch it." He said. Chenyin gave the book to the Prince. The book was brown. It had a beautiful design on it. And it has also a lock on it. "Hey it has a lock on it. Did you notice?" He asked.

The Book of Mara

The Book of Mara

Once the man makes it through the course the Draygana would rub the cloth over her neck then tie it around her own wrist. I leaned against the wall and watched with ever-growing curiosity as this happened repeatedly until the large group dwindled down to just a few. When the curiosity grew too much, I pushed away from the wall and walked over to speak to them. "Hello," I greeted them cheerfully. They gave me a once over, and their mouths pulled back into an odd sneer as if they didn't want me near them at all. One woman hissed something at me. I shuffled awkwardly as I tried to allow my mind to translate her words. Much to my frustration, and despite Nerrians insistent, I couldn't understand

The Blood Bound Legacy

The Blood Bound Legacy

“You’ve got power now, but that doesn’t make you safe. It just makes you visible.” Lena’s hands curled into fists. “Then we’ll be seen. I’m done hiding.” But the woman stepped closer, lowering her voice. “There’s something else. Something worse.” Lena stared. “Worse than a flood of soul-eating echoes?” “Yes.” The woman’s hands trembled as she flipped to the last page in her notebook—a single word was scrawled in black ink, over and over, until it almost tore the paper: Anchor. Anchor. Anchor.

Rejected Luna : Alpha's Promise, King's Claim

Rejected Luna : Alpha's Promise, King's Claim

Just a crescent white moon etched in the center of the cover. My fingers close around it. It’s cold. I glance back at Alex and Ava. They’re speaking in low voices, Alex watching her like a hawk. Good. I open the book, flipping through pages quickly. Hand written text in cursive with black and white pictures of symbols, and unknown diagrams fills the worn page. I squint my eyes and look through the small text until I find what I'm looking for. Mana Wolves. The words almost glow on the page. My heart skips a beat. This is it.

Bound by Gun (Book 1)

Bound by Gun (Book 1)

Now, all that lingered were whispers of a life she may never reclaim. The car gradually came to a halt as they neared the entrance of a secluded driveway, anticipation hanging in the air. Catalina’s breath hitched as she beheld the mansion looming against the darkened sky. It stood like a sentinel, its intricate iron gates and formidable stone walls exuding an aura of strength and foreboding. The car glided forward, tires whispering against the gravel as the gates creaked open, revealing a world filled with unspoken promises. As the car came to a halt, the man next to her clasped her arm—not with aggression, but with a steady grip that conveyed the futility of defiance. She faltered a bit as

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

For a second, nothing happened. The clasps fought him. I could *see* the game reasserting all its weight there, pouring authority into those bindings. HEART IS SYSTEM. CLOSED TEXT. The book’s spine glowed, the fissure we’d forced in it bleeding harsh light. “C’mon,” Jax grunted through clenched teeth, smashing his pipe into another chain’s joint to buy Corvin half a second more. “Open, you pretentious brick.” Grant and Tamsin, acting without needing orders now, simultaneously yanked and distracted—Grant hauling on a chain to drag the Librarian’s balance off, Tamsin flinging another script at its face, the pages plastering over one ink‑eye and muffling its bellow.

The Manhood Diaries

The Manhood Diaries

Adam glanced back down at the page, a faint smirk returning. “Man handled it though,” he murmured. “Didn’t panic, didn’t fumble it… just stayed in it.” He closed the book halfway again, shaking his head with a quiet chuckle. “Still… that’s not for everybody,” he added. “Takes a certain kind of mindset to even step into something like that.” He looked at the cover for a second, then back at the pages. “This book really doesn’t miss,” he said under his breath. Then, without hesitation—

Choosing her heart

Choosing her heart

She looked proud as she explained this, but deep down, I had a feeling her father used these as leverage. She walked over to the end of the bookshelf, pulling out a black leather-bound book tied with a thin rope. Carved into the leather were the words ‘Book of Transcendents’. Maleigha motioned to a small round table and the three of us sat down. She handed the book to Kai and he opened to the first page.
