"Fruits?" he insisted. "Banana, papaya, mango, pineapple." Napilitan tuloy siya. "Uhm, mangga na lang siguro."

He shrugged, "Well, I don’t want to wake you up. You know you look innocent and peaceful to look at when you sleep. I think I much prefer you sleeping then you’re awake. ." I rolled my eyes at that comment. He finished peeling off the mangoes and placed them on a plate, preparing a new sauce. "Are you eating bagoong?" He asked. [Bagoong is a Philippine condiment partially or completely made of either fermented fish (bagoóng) or krill or shrimp paste (alamáng) with salt.] I nodded at his question, "Of course I eat it, it goes well with mangoes! "Oh, I thought you would be picky with your food. Women I mostly know don't like the taste of it." He commented, offering the food to me but he stoppe

Eve could only look at the food on the table and sat in front of Allan with resignation. “Wow, what kind of vegetable is this?” Little Luca’s question was overheard by Lordes, who responded despite talking with Celeste. “That’s adobong talbos ng kamote, dear.” “What? I thought adobo only came with chicken or pork. There’s something like this too?” “Oh yes, dear. Out here in the province, you’ll find all sorts of different dishes! They’re delicious even if the spices aren’t expensive!” “Really?” Luca’s curiosity was piqued. “But too much rice might make me fat. I want to build muscles like Kuya Semion!”

She placed rice in the center, and we helped ourselves to the various dishes she'd prepared in her kitchen—fried and stewed eggplant, sunny-side-up eggs, tocino, and longganisa. "Mom, where did you find tocino?" I inquired. There was no electricity here; Mom relied on solar power for light and a portable icebox. "I go to town once a week to get what we need. I knew you all were coming, so I picked up a few things you'd enjoy," Mom explained. "What's this?" Angela asked, holding up a pot of yellow soup. "It's called Bulanglang. It has squash, malunggay leaves, and squash flowers. There's some sweet potato, too. Try it! Just scoop some squash if you like," Mom explained cheerfully.

But what he doesn't know is that he is only pretending to be a human and plans to use him for what he plans to do. "There's adobo here, bulalo, tinola, kare-kare, pinakbet and there's also barbeque. The lady was surprised by what he said and even her husband turned to her with a look of surprise on his face.
