Soon he returned with five different test kits and they both read the instructions on the leaflet before Kayden told Lily to go into the bathroom and do the test. While Lily was inside the bathroom, Kayden Diego was pacing back and forth, too excited to sit down. He wanted it to come out positive. It was supposed to be ready after five minutes but each minute was taking too long and Kayden wondered why the time suddenly became very slow for his sake. Kayden kept pacing back and forth trying very hard to endure the torture of the time suddenly becoming slow. Lily kept the test kit on the toilet sink and was waiting to see two red bands and that would confirm her guesses.

“Which is not the case here.” A long, shaky exhale left him before he could stop it. “So if I bring hair or nails,” he repeated slowly, “the test can be done?” “Yes, Mr. Carter. Once you submit the sample, results will take about forty-eight hours.” A long silence. Then he nodded. “Schedule the test. This machine is just the last step, we actually use all your examination results and the final reading from this to give you the exact conception date. Down to the day, usually with a slight margin of error.” He helped me to my feet, “Is it a must for the readings to be on the exact day?” He shook his head, “The reading is to the day but on the report you can request a week or month reading.”
