Maid To Be (Book Three)

Maid To Be (Book Three)

The voice of Martha went on. “Be there for him, dear. Men will always nag, believe me. And they sure never get satisfied, but it would take an understanding woman to go through with him” “Men don’t nag” Marcellus pitched in. “In fact, we do the opposite of that” “Oh not you, darling” Martha uttered. “You make up perfection” She uttered, while caressing his face. And I was left to behold the couple’s show of affection, watching as they snuggled up to each other, the sound of their low laughters breaking out.

Pregnant and Jailed: Revenge on my Quadruplet’s Father

Warning: Unedited Dahlia pov, It isn’t just marigold who seems to be up to something. My parents too has her backing because few hours ago, After I and the kids arrived home I received friendly Text messages from them inviting me the party too. It would has been a different thing if it was just some general broadcast invitation but it was personal invite with claims about wanting to make peace and meet my kids. I would never really want to get my kids involved in this game but marigold cunningly did in a way I wouldn’t object. She had insisted on following me and Carlton to go pick the kids from school and on our way back she played the charade of being a sweet Aunt and she invited them to t

Strangers lingering just long enough to glance my way and disappear. It didn’t feel like coincidence. It felt like someone was guarding me. “I don’t know who it is,” I continued, “but it doesn’t feel bad. It feels… careful.” Mara considered that. “Secret admirer?” I let out a breath of a laugh. “Maybe. Maybe someone from the publishing project. There were letters before. Poetic, anonymous. They stopped for a while, then one appeared again—with a gift.” “What kind of gift?” “A first edition copy of my favorite childhood book. The one I lost during the move.”

A Few Hundred Poppies

A Few Hundred Poppies

I blinked several times with anticipation, running a finger down his cheek as I eyed his hesitance. "But what?"I whispered, leaning in impatiently. The bookcase wasn't a very comfortable thing to be pushed up against, either, the spines of the shelved volumes pricked at my back. I squirmed between the shelf and West's body, trying to get control over my skyrocketing heartbeat. "You have to understand, I'm not from a normal family," he almost whimpered, his lower lip quivering. "Like hell if I care," having waited enough, I leaned closer. Only I wasn't leaning closer, I was falling back. Because something very powerful had made the bookshelf move, and instead of neatly arranged books, there w

Fated Lovers of Magic: Book 1

Fated Lovers of Magic: Book 1

“ So listen to me carefully and follow every word that I say to him. Earth gave a nod and just waited for him to give the instructions. When Lark finished, his eyes became so round and he looked like his blood all came to his cheeks as he blushed upon learning the ways. “Are you for real?” he asked to confirm “You don’t believe me? Then forget it, this will only give him a bad impression of you for living him out there alone. Can you believe a friend you are close to would ever leave you for who knows how long? And do you think that just the two of us would be enough to look for the book you are looking for? Every day this room arranges its book on its own and I learned that the pieces of in

His Maid's Son (Bk1)

His Maid's Son (Bk1)

Nine years later... ALEXANDER “If you stain another dress you will be left at home,” I warned my seven-year-old baby girl who has been driving Christian mad since morning. She woke up early and eager for her uncle's wedding. “I won't daddy,” she assures innocently, just like she did when Christian changed her dress the second time. She ran straight to the backyard to look for a doll she might have left there and voilà another soiled dress. Rita's bedroom door opened, “Babe, can you hold her for a minute?” My husband asked from the doorway, holding our youngest, Allison.

Thorns and Roses

Thorns and Roses

The other workers went ahead to take Zeke's luggage out of the car and arrange them in his already prepared room. Zeke rubbed his hands together in excitement as Madam Gloria uncovered the soup before him. He moaned as the sweet aroma hit his nose. "I've missed this scent." He took a spoon full and slurped it. He shut his eyes tightly, savoring the spiciness and sweetness of the soup. "It hasn't changed one bit. It's still the best." Madam Gloria patted his head, grinning ear to ear, "it's great to see this smile on your face again."

SIGN HERE: Divorcing The Vampiric Lord-Alpha Starlyn

The soft glow of the window casts a warm, comforting light over the room. Once I fell asleep, I began to dream, and in my dreams, I saw visions of the future, a world filled with magic and wonder. I could have sworn to hear the hum and words of Marigold and Queen Tatiana in my slumber. ____________________ This book is the property of Ulliend Musings and its brand. Roses and Gunfire: The Price of Devotion

Roses and Gunfire: The Price of Devotion

She feels like she's drowning in the abyss of darkness. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the field. Amethyst looked up, her vision blurred by tears. 'Maybe I'm not like a sunflower after all. Maybe I never was.' Amethyst then mockingly laughed to herself. She then said out loud, 'Maybe I am a lily of the valley, the negative and complete opposite of the sunflower. I feel like I can represent the negative meaning of the lily of the valley. Sadness, pain, loss, and even death.' She cried until she had no more tears left, the weight of her sorrow pressing down on her like a physical burden. As the last light of day faded, she stood up, wiping her face with trembling

To Be Yours Again

To Be Yours Again

When night fell, Marigold was sitting on the sofa in the living room. She was normally already asleep at this hour, but today, she didn't feel the least bit drowsy. The words Jenny had said to her in the afternoon kept replaying in her head, and she began to reflect on herself. Perhaps she'd been wrong. Was her child destined to be inferior to others just because his parents didn't get married? Jenny had reminded her of an important point.

Read through the 30 available chapters. It's pretty interesting so far. Strong FL, although I wish she was a bit more cool-headed and calm when she's dealing with the ex-husband, especially since he has no idea their previous relationship.

Think I'm beginning to like this book. Firstly it's completed with perfectly written grammars also for plots involving medical scientific descriptions, thankfully detailed to enhance our knowledge as in medical terms accordingly hence something to recognise.Applause for the Author's efforts.11/05/24
