Lain wasted no time in welcoming the next two groups to the ring. “I'm on the same team as the queen of the south. How fascinating.” Marinette laughed softly as she walked out of the tent, with Tiffany following behind her. “You're way too jovial.” Freya frowned and lowered her head onto her desk again. “You have a beautiful name and last name. I'm glad you're good-looking. Perfectly suits the names you bear.” Marinette commented when she got up to the ring and discovered Charles was a handsome lad. Unlike the rest of the squad who had someone enthusiastic, the three of them said no other word to themselves until they got to the field.

She only nodded and almost choked as Lucien made a gagging sound before walking away with the man “So tell me, Mara… how did you meet Lucien?” Lauretta asked her. She looked keen to know and this was Mara’s opportunity to have her spread the word to her friends and so she smiled before responding “My best friend is married to his brother and we just fell into each other’s arms” Mara told her in the quaintest of voices

Marinette keeps laughing each time Jaz talks about her experience with a young man at work. Apparently, the man told her she's too elegant and pretty to be single. He gave her some flowers, sent a letter, and asked her to become his wife. I cringe at the thought of Jaz getting married to such a dumbass. “Well, why did you turn him down?” Marinette's laughing hard, fingers digging into the shrimps on the dining table. She raises her head, meeting Jaz’s gaze. “He might really like you, you know?” She teases, “there's no harm in trying him out.”

Because Miren knows that if she doesn't even pour him a few buckets of cold water, Marik won't let her go and let her go home. “I tell you, I don't care what kind of paranoia you have, but what you have in my hands is completely possible without having to be your friend. My friends may not be rich and powerful, but my friends must be decent and kind people.
