In the rearview mirror, I watched her drop to the ground, covering her face as sobs racked her shoulders. That was the last time I ever spoke to her in person. Our final meeting came at my wedding. We kept it small. A quiet chapel, just close friends and family. Megan and I were exchanging rings, and I noticed movement near the entrance, so I glanced over. It was Mia.
