Louis pulled me into the living room and took off to go attend to something. Mario sat on the couch because he couldn't keep standing for too long. I breathed in the sweet scent of the flowers he gifted me. “How do you feel dear?” He asked. “I'm okay.” I nodded with a relaxed smile. “You sure do like to provoke my son, don't you child?” Mario suddenly asked. “And also put yourself in danger.” Mario raised his brows like this amused him. I shrugged at him. “I just needed to check something out real quick. He wouldn't have listened to me if I had directly told so I had to.” I concluded, beginning to feel upset at the direct mention of him.

“All right. Enough with the family drama. Let’s get this over with before the others get a sniff of what we are doing here.” My mom is still frowning, but she walks deeper into the living room and settles on the couch with her arms crossed. I follow and sit awkwardly beside her, aware of how stiff she feels next to me. I look at Wilson. “So now, what?” “Now, we wait.” “Wait for what?” The front door opens again and a group of people marches inside. I recognize one of them at once. Mario?! “Okay… I think I am about to have a stroke,” I blurt out. “Can someone tell me what Mario is doing here?”

A burly man with a deep scar slashing across his cheek clicked his tongue in disdain.

I pushed him slightly and made my way to the hard door. I pushed it with all my strength and I went out when it opened. I started walking to my seat when someone grabbed my hand from the back and made me stumble against the person's chest. "You don't walk out on me like that, understood?" Mario said angrily.

Not even sure that people really know about this little town. “Are you ready to face the market area? I assume you would want to stock up on food and it would do you good to actually come out of here a bit.” Mario, my trusted trainer and best friend says as he comes walking into my room as if he owns it. “That sounds like an exercise of my mental health. You know how the first walk about the town went. Not sure I want to face that again.” I tell him, pulling on a shirt as I get ready for my morning run.

Now he’s pulling it on me, and it’s about to perform. But I’m not about to make it simple. “I have things to do.”

Lorenzo made his way to Mario pushing anyone who was in his way, trying as much as possible not to get too violent. Mario raised his hand to punch someone a second time in the nose when Lorenzo grabbed him by the wrists, interfering. Mario flared and turned around. "That's enough!" Lorenzo said, holding his hand firmly. "Let go!" Mario snarled, pulling his hand, but Lorenzo's grip was firm, holding him in place. Mario who held the person he was beating up by the neck, released the person and faced Lorenzo. He threw punches at Lorenzo, but Lorenzo skillfully blocked them and pushed him back.
