The library was spacious and well equipped with books upon books. Illuminated with florescent lights, cooled by air conditioners, and monitored by CCTV's. She zoomed past a few students into the hallway of bookshelves. Running her hands unconsciously on the well stacked books, she walked through the spaces between the giant bookshelves.

"I need to know who we're fighting for." Martha was quiet for a long moment. Then she started talking. "She was born in the winter," Martha said. "January. The coldest night of the year. I named her Lily because the woman in the bed next to mine had lilies on her nightstand. They were dying too. But they were beautiful." "Where were you?" "A shelter in Vermont. Run by nuns. They didn't ask questions. They just held my hand and told me everything was going to be okay."

He asked. " Sharron?" I was baffled. " I have warned you to stay away from her, what the fuck is wrong with you?" He asked. " What are you doing here? You're not a student." Martha said, still crossing her arms. " I'm here for Riley. You should stick to your shit or watch me come after you." Miles said as I kept quiet, staring at both of them. “Actually, I wanted to ask if you could come with me. I want to check records of my mom. I want to know more about her. So, can you come with me today? I was thinking we go to the library and the city records office. Maybe we can find some information about my mom there.” Riley’s face softened, but then she shook her head with a frown. “Oh, Lisa, I can’t today. I’m so sorry. Mara dropped all this on me last night.” She gestured at the chaotic mess on the table. “The winter showcase layout, coordinating with five other artists… I’m buried. Different sections and also filled with people quietly reading and also using the computer for educational purposes. "Why are we here?" Brie finally utters after a long time of being silent. "This is a library where people come to read and do other stuffs. I don't get why we are here" She adds. "You'll see" Marshall always has a way of suspending conversations with his words. He walks to an elderly woman. Her hairs are white but she's looking young as ever. Guess the hair made me think she was elderly.

Mary continued. Hearing that explanation, Riley asked, "What's the point of you explaining that, when you know that I can't get into the library?" Mary tapped her forehead because Riley was not as smart as she thought. "Oh my, you can't get in but other people can." Riley still didn't understand so he just looked at Mary with a pleading look to be explained. "Oh, that sucks!" Mary said through her teeth. However, the girl still explained, "I as an ordinary staff have limited access so even if I can go in to get you a book, it's still not certain that I can get the book you want."

Martha started. She explained the general understanding for us and while it was a little tricky, we didn’t have a lot of options. “You should get some rest, Miles and I would attend morning court now.
