Chapter 1 Aurora’s POV “This is ridiculous,” I snapped the second the tall bastard stepped into my penthouse living room. I crossed my arms tight under my breasts, pushing them up on purpose just to see if he’d look, but the coward didn’t. His eyes stayed locked on my face as if I was just some annoying package he had to deliver. That pissed me off more than anything. Ronan stood there in a black shirt, sleeves rolled up to show his forearms covered in veins and old scars. Ex-special forces, they said.

I asked. “I don’t know, but Ronan has a lot of enemies.” Beta Grant breathed. “Look, what happened back there-” He stopped when the large mechanical garage door started to open. My eyes widened when I saw Ronan smiling. I now realized that there was no attack. “Ronan…what’s going on?” I asked. “Happy birthday babe!” He stood aside and I was suddenly blinded by light. “Is that…is that a car?!” “Yeah, isn’t it nice?”

Marcellus turned to him slowly, eyes narrowing with fatherly protectiveness. “Who are you to my daughter?” Ronan’s lips curled into a cold smile. “That’s rich coming from a father who wasn’t in his daughter’s life all her life but now wants to claim the fatherly duty.”

I was worried about the people we left behind while Celestina and I depended on these three. I knew they were capable, but what if we were outnumbered? What if we got caught by the people who sent an explosive into the compound? Matteo untied the rope, throwing it to the boat, and was about to jump when I saw a familiar face. “Wait!” What was he doing here? Tessa’s POV “Why does everyone think that you are getting married to me because of a baby?” I asked Ronan as we headed for his very important match tonight. We flew in the Nexus City and had a lot of sex even though it is prohibited during his game time, but what his team is unaware of is the fact that Ronan is not an ordinary player, he is a werewolf and that too the most powerful one, he is the Alpha! So of course we went at it like rabbits in the hotel room and then headed to the stadium where the game was held.

And standing at the absolute front of that line, coated in blood and dirt, was Ronan. He was in his human form, a towering engine of lethal destruction. His silver combat knives were a blinding blur, slicing through the feral wolves that dared to lunge at him. His tactical vest was slashed to ribbons, and a dark crimson stain was spreading rapidly across his left shoulder, but his stormy grey eyes burned with a terrifying, unyielding fire. He was protecting the heavy canvas bags of explosives piled behind him at all costs. But there were simply too many of them.
