Married To My Ex-husband's Half-brother

Married To My Ex-husband's Half-brother

His hand stays pressed against my back, grounding me as the nurse tends to my wounds. An old woman walks into the living room, her hands akimbo. "This must be the lovely lady you got married to." Liam nods, face relaxing into a wide smile. "Yes ma'am. Laura, this is Martha. She used to work for my father." I smile at her as well, she must've been the safest place Liam thought to come to which makes her our savior right now.

"Decoys. Deception." "It's art, Cale." They reached the porch. Elion knocked. The door swung open. An elderly woman with white curls and an apron beamed at them. "You must be the boys! Come in, come in! I'm Martha." "Hello, Martha," Elion said, smiling. "I'm Elion. This is my husband, Cale." "Husband," Cale said, nodding stiffly. "Greetings." "Oh, aren't you tall!" Martha said, looking up at Cale. "And so serious! Frank! Come meet the neighbors!"

Flash Marriage: Babies with My Unknown Husband

Flash Marriage: Babies with My Unknown Husband

She couldn't stop wondering who might have killed him. Martha certainly didn’t have the money to afford someone to track Eldridge constantly. Martha was now relying solely on her maternal siblings for support. “Daddy!” Elizabeth peeked out when she heard the children’s excited voices in the living room. “We’ll take care of things here. Go greet your husband, Liz,” Melba teased her, along with the other helpers. “Let’s set the table.” “Oh, come on, ma’am, don’t be shy. It’s normal for a wife to welcome her husband home,” another helper teased, causing them all to laugh.

I’m done reading this book The last few chapters was a repeat chapter and that is so annoying. It’s not the first time or the last time I’m sure I’m over this book I really like it but not enough to just throw money away Good luck to the author but won’t be getting no more of my coins

Before I lost my old phone I had this app. and several books on it including this story. Unfortunately I have started rereading it and I'm a bit disappointed... Same story but somehow it reads like a little kid wrote it... Sorry but it's true.. Please fix the way it's edited and correct the mistake

When the Truth Was Born

When the Truth Was Born

There he was, cradling the baby. Seeing his face, I was rooted to the spot, my voice barely a whisper as I said, "Marvin?" It was Rebecca's brother-in-law, Marvin Hughes. His wife, Rebecca's sister, had passed away young, and he had stayed single, honoring her memory. He had kept up with the Harris family out of respect for his late wife, and Rebecca's folks had practically adopted him. However, he had a child with his sister-in-law, Rebecca. From a nobody, he had climbed to the top, running that hospital. It did not take a genius to figure out who had pulled the strings.

he replied and pack the few things he could to the dining room. Elaine stood there staring at the plate in her hand, she knew she had overstepped her boundaries when he yelled at her. “Is it so hard to say the truth to your face” she asked herself then followed behind him to the dinning. Mary had been waiting a while for the dinner, “Oh Thank God” she sighed when saw Richard coming forward but when she saw Elaine, her face turned into a scowl. The dinner began and they ate quietly until Mary began. “Has Richard told you that we are building a park in memory of my husband, his father” she referred to Elaine.

Her husbands

Her husbands

Camilla smiled that I thought was as fake as her husband. “Why not. Evenings with you are always fascinating.” Hayden’s gaze was still lingering when his lips curled in a smirk. “Speaking of fascination…” his orbs landed besides me and my body tensed. “Wouldn’t you introduce your wife, Theodore?” Instead of Hazel, my mother answered after beats of hesitation. “She’s Hazel, and Hazel, he’s Hayden, your husbands cousin and she’s Camilla, his wife.” She graced them with a tentative smile. Something dark and volatile emitted through me.

The Lost Alpha Princess

The Lost Alpha Princess

I picked up the photo and saw it was a photo of Martha and a stern-looking man with a thick mustache and eyebrows. “That was Miss Martha’s husband,” Albert explained. “My great-grandfather, right?” Amy asked. “No, that is Robert Richardson, her second husband,” Alfred explained. “She remarried a year after she was widowed.” “Is he …um …dead?” Amy asked. “Oh, yes,” Alfred said. For many years now.” He hung the picture back on the nail on the wall. “It’s strange. Miss Martha would never have had this photo in her rooms.” “Why not?” I asked.

My Husband’s Children

My Husband’s Children

My disappointment was probably written all over my face, because he held me tight and said tenderly, “I’ll try not to go overseas as much after those kids settle in. Once I start staying at home more, I’m sure we’ll have our own baby soon. Believe me.” Staring at his familiar features, I remembered how he had hugged me just like this, promising me he would come back soon… right before his flight to Switzerland. He had come back, but his heart remained in the Alps. “Alright.” I forced a smile and watched him rush away. Since the New York administrative system did not contain any records of our marriage, that meant the marriage certificate we obtained in Vegas had no effect. That saved me the

Taming Cinderella

Taming Cinderella

Ella: Richard, my father, was a strong man who worked for the United States government until he died after a severe case of stroke four years ago in 2015. Mary’s first husband had abandoned her after the birth of her second daughter post which they were living for years in absolute poverty on social support.
