I ran down the stairs immediately, and out of the house to meet Mason waiting for me already. We both went ice gliding according to Mason's choice of fun activity in another town that was miles away, because Mason said that snow had been falling there for a few days even though it had not fallen back in our town. I had fun regardless of how scared and cautious I was about getting wounded, and he helped me master the basics as we both glided together hand in hand. With time, I had forgotten all of my worries temporarily and just went with the flow of the enjoyable day.

Alexis's POV Mason and I are going home for Christmas, we're having a joint Christmas with his parents and my parents in my mother's villa in Napa Valley. We have been super busy over the past few weeks, I'll be completing my stem cells research by January and Mason has been traveling for work so we have barely seen each other. We haven't even had sex in a while, the last time was when we got back from our weekend in the Hamptons few weeks ago and now we're going to be spending time with our parents which technically means there won't be any sex.
