The Master’s form shimmered between them, almost intangible, a ghost of energy and darkness. “Brave words for someone who just fed me the energy I needed,” the Master said, voice low, almost a whisper carried on the wind. “Do you see it now? Every step you’ve taken, every bond you’ve strengthened—it’s all been my design. The Sacrifice Game was just the beginning.” Wolf stepped forward, weapon drawn. “You’re insane! He continued searching. His beady eyes revealed more about his character than even his aura did. “Your grandmaster.” Chris’s voice boomed, filling the room. He flicked his fingers, dispelling the darkness in the room. He instantly regretted his actions.
