LUNA ALEX "I like this look on you." Ryan whistled appreciatively as I walked out of our bathroom. We had just finished mating for the umpteenth time, and I was wearing a pair of his clean boxers and one of his white button up shirts. It turns out that mating was the only way to get rid of the pain, it had been a couple of days and the pain that I felt was no more. Previously we hadn't had any major conversations about us mating but it really didn't matter as of now. I don't have any regret and plus we both loved each other and are destine to be together forever.

Matteo took the gun from me, snapping me out of my gaze. “Are you listening?” he asked. “I lost focus.” He placed the gun back in my hand. “Again.” This time, I tightened my grip, raised the gun, aligned the shot, and fired. Matteo watched in silence. “Good.” “Training ends here. Ethan will take you back.” As I gathered my gear, Matteo's eyes caught mine across the room. He leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, blocking my exit. “You did well today,” he said.

And Damon saw it the exact second before it happened. The decision. If Matteo couldn’t own the ending, he would ruin it. He pivoted violently, gun snapping toward Luca on the ground. Damon didn’t think. Didn’t calculate. Didn’t even breathe. He fired. The shot cracked through the rain. Matteo jerked. His gun discharged wildly into the dark. Then slipped from his fingers and vanished into the mud. For one suspended second, nobody moved. Matteo looked down. At the blood spreading across his lower abdomen.

I sneered coldly, “Oh, fear, you say? Then, why don't I show you what fear really is?” With that, I pointed my gun right on one of his legs and his men rushed forward. But, he was too stupid, too full of himself that he made them stop. With that annoying smirk at the edge of his lips, he said, “Don't. He won't dare shoot at…" Bang! But, he forgot that I was no longer that boy. Matteo screamed in pain, his composure disappearing with the wind as he hurriedly retreated with blood oozing out of the hole on his pant trousers.

We aren’t dead? “Matilda, I request you join my pack. Do you consent?” Onyx says impatiently. He holds both sides of my face, making sure I am focused on him. His eyes are frantic and begging as I grit my teeth and nod ‘yes’. “I need you to say the words, babe.” “I consent.” I whisper, my words morphing into an anguished scream as I reach up to touch his arm.

I grabbed the bullets and rolled them on my shoulder and started the sweet engine of doom. Matteo climbed up on the car and manned the machine gun fixed on it too since the man there was shot dead. Clean aim, there's a sniper here and I caught the bastard quickly. The gun in my hand was fucking heavy but I managed to grab a knife and released it into his head. Cool… I turned on doom and the syncing of our guns, spraying bullets all over the corner and the men screaming and falling made me smile. The sickening death cries was heavenly and just what I needed to hear. It spinned hot and came to an end after releasing a ton of bullets and shells were all over the ground.

Matteo mocked me as he smirked and my heart nearly stopped when I saw Japheth's eyes were already closing. “Matteo, last chance, let him go!” I shouted but he didn't move. “He needs to be gone for you to come back to my senses.” He snapped and I finally had enough. If I tried to shoot his arm and accidentally missed, I'd be shooting Japheth instead. So I moved the gun down and shot his leg that was right in between Japheth's legs. He let out a yell of pain as he stumbled back and seeing that Japheth was finally free, I finally rushed forward. He raised his hand to stab him again but I shot one more time, aiming for his arm instead.

Felix told him as a matter of fact and he grinned. Matteo smirked "Well, I should also tell you...." He leaned closer. "your girl, oh what's her name again. Yeah Sarah, her skin.....it tastes so good" he said lowly with dark amusement in his eyes. Felix grinned at his words. So he touched her, fucking asshole! He grimaced, cocked his gun and immediately shot Matteo to the left shoulder. "Jesus!" He groaned.

The man was a f*cking Jedi. A movement behind me got my attention and I looked back, turning just in time to dodge a blow of an iron bat from a small guy that came out of nowhere. I cursed before pointing my own gun at him and shooting him in the shoulder. The guy fell back, but I didn’t wait to know if he was dead or not. My heart was beating really fast and the adrenaline coursing through me was what was keeping me going. I couldn’t stop. As I turned around to take in my surroundings once more and check if anyone might need my help, my heart sank to my stomach as I saw Matias get shot in the head, his body collapsing lifeless on the ground.

" My mate is so pissed right now, but she is handling it well. She's keeping her language rated G because she knows she has kids watching her. She says, "I don't want this scum ruining our evening! Let's celebrate!" Three guards came and picked up the shooter and she scanned the rest of the crowd and found another one. She pointed and threw another small lightning bolt. The guy dropped the gun and someone in the crowd caught it. She levitated the guy and brought him to the front, where three more guards were waiting to take him to the dungeon. I am always in awe of my mate, but I'm even more so now. She has always been a badass in my eyes, but more so now. I love this woman more than life it
