The camera feeds painted his torso in shifting blue shadows, illuminating the scars I hadn't known about three parallel lines raked across his pectoral, pale and raised like the marks of some great beast. I lifted the letter opener between us, letting moonlight dance along the blade. "Does the footage come with director's commentary, or do you just jack off to the silent reruns?"

Matt says in a bored tone as we walked up towards the booth. "Fine, go ahead and take my dramatic moment away." Damien muttered under his breath, crossing his arms over his chest as he pouted. "He didn't need to, you never created one." Ty rolls his eyes at his friend. "Whatever, just hand me the gun." He said, taking the gun from Matt. "Prepaid to be amazed." He said all cocky.

"Where is he hiding my girl?" Taggart got more rage. He raised his pitch with a snarl to side Matthew. His sharp gaze was so terrifying when a human saw it. "Damian is not here. That can't be right!” Matthew turned sternly acted towards Taggart. He scoffed annoyingly and disbelieved to admit.

“Didn’t know it could hurt this much.” He didn’t reply. Just kept cleaning. All the faces at the table turned toward me. Christian’s expression darkened, his eyes narrowing into slits. My father choked on his wine. A security guard burst through the dining room doors, out of breath. “Sir... there’s a man outside. He refuses to leave. He says...” The double doors swung open. A tall, devastatingly handsome man walked in, pulling off a pair of sunglasses. His messy dark hair fell over a face that was on every billboard in the country. Damian Cole? On the plane with Nic were Antonio, Raymond and his friend, Damon. Damon was a huge guy, ex-Navy SEAL who cashed in big checks with bounty hunting. Nic had employed him several times over the years. Damon pauses for a bit and what seems to be a smile appears on his face. Raven didn’t know how to reply to what Damon had asked her so she kept quiet. “I have a proposal for you,” Damon adds “I don’t do married man,” Raven quickly says Damon looks at Raven with a smirk on his face. “I’m not married,” he says. Raven didn’t know she was holding her breath when she heaved a heavy sigh. A part of her was relieved that the good-looking man beside her was not married but that did not mean he was single.
