It wasn’t until he stumbled upon her notebook that she had accidentally left in his room one day when her bag fell down that he realized what her passion actually was. He didn’t mean to pry, but the pages were open, so as a curious high school boy, he couldn’t help but read the neat handwriting on the paper. They were words that told a short story. Matthew’s eyes widened, and he quickly flipped to the beginning of the page. The words on the first page were: ‘My Lover’. Matthew swallowed before he started to read.

“ I don't understand why she treats you this way. Yet you stop me from giving her a piece of my mind.’’ he says, bringing his fingers over my cheeks and brushing his knuckles over my skin. I can't help but shut my eyes relishing at the feeling it brings. “ I'm not going to be the reason you go against your mother.’’ “ but alondra…’’ “ Come on, Weston,’’ I interrupted, “ we should go before someone catches us.’’ “ Sometimes I wonder why I'm so much more comfortable with you than those whom I call my family. I love them but with you my life feels complete.’’ END OF FLASHBACK. ~~~~~~~~~ He said it won't stop for the first time he said it that day. if you have completed my presents. Now it certa

**************** AUTHOR’S NOTE Hey my amazing readers Wow… Chapter 60 is here, and I just have to say thank you so much for following Matteo’s twisted journey with me. This chapter was an intense one, wasn’t it? We really got to step into Matteo’s mind and see just how far he’s willing to go to bring Damian down. The shattered wine glass, the blood, his obsession with Isabella, and now Ricardo’s sudden arrival it’s all building up to something explosive.

Who is this man? Mathieu stepped before me, his large body blocking me, and to my surprise they both growled at him. “Ruby can’t be released to you. She’s not just your mate, she’s Xavier’s as well.” Oh no, the fuck I’m not! Pain blossomed within my gut and I hugged myself as I leaned forward. “You’re all crazy,” I said. But before I could properly finish the sentence I vomited, my body shaking violently as I fell to the ground.

My eyes widened from shock when I listened to that conspiracy planned by both the Queen Mother and Hela, and that's when mom said, "I'm wrong; I shouldn't have trusted this despicable Wilson. All those years I thought I had got rid of Rita's curse, but now she's after me." I went down a little with my body, looked through the door opening, and saw Hela's forehead narrowing. Then she asked her insistently as she grabbed Ritchie's hand to pull her with her towards one of the sofas and sit next to her, "No, Ritchie... I don't like puzzles; it seems you hide a lot. Tell me what is going on in your head. After all, our interests are shared." I listened to my mother answer her hesitantly. "What ri

I flipped through the photos–different shots of my mother with Graylin at a cite that looked mostly remote and desolate. But it was the group of men with them on the fifth photo, that stalled me. “I know,” Mathew said, probably as he guessed the image I was looking at. The men's red rimmed eyes, pale skin and harsh beauty…. “Vamps.” I muttered and Mathew nodded. “I suspected as mu…fuck! What is that?!”he suddenly barked and I almost laughed as I caught sight of the flash of black. “I see you met my cat…Maze gifted her to me.”

Silence crashes down after I sit up and push them away, and I realise to my irritation that each of them is staring at me in a different way. Rhett’s on all fours with his chest heaving and his eyes burning gold, wide with awe and terror. He looks like he belongs in one of the Brothers Grimm fairytales...like something that should’ve stayed buried. Matteo’s mouth is open, the words that he was speaking broken off and stuck on his tongue as his blade dangles forgotten at his side. He stares at my chest like he’s trying to find the bullet hole that isn’t there anymore, and the blood that should be flooding out. Yet, he finds nothing.

Sasha tilts my head so I'm looking into his eyes, “don't f*****g break down now. Let's look around for clues first.” I draw in a shaky breath then exhale. He's right, this isn't the right time to sulk, there has to be something that can lead us to her, or at least tell us who took her. “Here” He calls. There's a chair, in the corner of the room and on it, something like an initial. My eyes widen when I recognise it. Matt×Dom. F**k, why didn't I see it sooner? “You recognise it?” “F*****g Matteo, he tattooed it on his skin back when we were dating.”

“Go on, bimba. Open it.” I shook my head. “Open it.” His voice dropped to a command. My hands trembled as I reached for the envelope, tearing it open with shaking fingers. Photos slid into my lap, glossy, damming, impossible to look away from. Matteo. My Matteo. Naked and fucking different women in different style positions. His hands, his lips, his mouth—all over them. I froze. The room spun. “No,” I whispered. “That’s not… that’s not real.”

My wolf Rowan had been crying in my head, telling me to go and talk to our mate, but I just couldn't bring myself to. I still remember that kiss, the way it had made me feel, I must admit, that's how a kiss is supposed to feel. That's what people have been raving about, I haven't felt it with the girls I've dated, Chloe included. I haven't felt it with anyone but him, even Luca's made me feel disgusted, but his was different. I guess it's because he's my mate….
