I closed the door before the man responded, and though I knew that it wasn’t something that I would normally do, I hated the fact that he saw it as normal to disrespect me the way that he did over something that I didn’t even do.
He drove off when he saw me walking inside the bank, and though I had to admit, I did wish that he didn’t, I knew that it wasn’t going to be something that I was going to tell him.
I walked inside, and I smiled when I saw the employee already waiting for me. His eyes met mine, and I nodded in appreciation as he returned the smile. “I am Mattia,”
