To Alex, he said, “You have five minutes.”
Alex nodded acceptance and thanks before Logan spun on a heel and left the room, closing the door behind him.
I was left alone in a room with a stranger.
I tried not to fidget nervously as I clung to the facade of calm. I couldn’t let him know how unnerved I was to be stuck here talking to him.
“So,” Alex began. “The Silverwolf has been found at last.”
