Its massive hull glinted under the morning sun, and even from miles away, the hum of energy vibrating through the water was unmistakable. Damian stood on the deck of the tactical vessel, wind whipping his hair, salt stinging his eyes. Beside him, Cole checked weapons and gear, his knuckles still bruised from Zurich. Mia was huddled over a holographic map, fingers flying as she traced the Mother ship’s course and projected potential weak points. Sienna stood nearby, her arms wrapped around Julian, who stared wide-eyed at the looming shadow in the distance. “This isn’t just a ship,” Mia muttered. “It’s a fortress. And it’s alive.”
