Maze Runner Graphic Novel Novels & Stories

--- Elsewhere in the maze, the Game bled. At least, that’s how it felt to Corvin. He tore through the tunnels like he intended to rip the entire level open with his bare hands. The ghost train had shot past him in a blur of static and hate; he’d felt it yank at the edges of his existence, hungry for his code. He’d braced himself for the pull. It hadn’t taken him. It had taken others.

If I collapsed on this road, at least someone would find me. The landscape changed as I rode deeper into territory I'd sworn never to return to. Trees grew denser, roads narrower, the scent markers that warned of pack boundaries growing stronger. This was Darius's land, the place I'd fled from five years ago with nothing but stolen motorcycle and desperate hope. Now I was returning broken, dying, and furious. The miles blurred together, punctuated by rest stops where I forced myself to drink water and pretend I wasn't actively deteriorating. Sable caught up at one point, wordlessly handing me energy bars I couldn't stomach and electrolyte drinks that tasted like medicine.

Maze smiled awkwardly and anticipated a chance to scold him for choosing such an expensive kind of place to come. As soon as she stepped in the shimmering crystal chandelier dazzled her eyes. She shoved her eyes around, the interior almost left her astonished. The velvety carpet under her feet was so fluffy and rich. She was so busy praising her surrounding that she left behind. She tapped her head as she realized she was lagged behind. She rushed to match his pace. Ryan chuckled seeing Maze gasping for breath next to him,"Did you take part in the marathon? Why are you panting so much?"

- I responded back, burying my thoughts deep. My face flushed realizing that he had been able to pick up these X-Rated thoughts so easily since I had been so deep into it. The book hadn't helped at all to keep my mind on my task for the day. It had been the equivalent of "See Spot Run" in the Draygonian world. Nerrian rolled his eyes and closed the book. He set it off to the side on a pile of books that never quite made it back to his shelves. I don't think this will work today. Nerrian admitted shaking his head.

I cower thinking of the one-time Max put her on his bike and took a picture of her, it lasted five seconds but apparently Rory had someone watching us for a long time. "Mr. Mahoney, I'm sure the picture looks bad, but the Nightmare Warriors are friends of mine. They are no part at all, a danger to my child. She loves them, they are like a bunch of uncles." I don't mention the relationship I have with their Road Captain, figured that small bit of information would be best left out.
