Aria’s POV Mama Felz should have been at Gray Moon pack. But here she was, smirking like she had just caught me sneaking out at midnight. My heart stopped. “Mama Felz?” I mumbled in disbelief. She grinned, showing her teeth. “In the fucking flesh.” My chest tightened, and my legs moved before I could think. I hobbled toward her, my swollen feet ached with every step. But I didn't care. Mama Felz met me halfway and her wrinkled face split into a genuine smile as I reached her.

I hear, and stop for a second, turning only to see Jaden. I startared walking again, even though my mind wanted to stay there, admiring my mate and my brother. I don't remember Jaden. I don't remember his friendship with Peter, but were they really that close? I feel something tugging at me and then I'm old Malia. I've just left my room, my steps are quiet and the door to my father's office is ajar. “What are we going to do, Urias?” My mother asks, her voice clearly worried.

I followed her through corridors I was starting to recognize, leaving Cain and Soraya behind. Maya trailed after us which was beginning to annoy me more than I wanted to admit. Halfway there, I heard footsteps behind us. “I’m coming too,” Soraya announced. “You weren’t invited,” my mother said without turning around. “Oh, come on. This is history in the making. I jogged my thumb to the door as I stood up. Tio and dad both laughed, but mamãe shut them up with one look. “I like that girl. I didn’t get to speak with her much. I want to change that. But from what Havana and Makayla had to say, I like her. I smile as I watch her as she darts off, chasing her children. “Mamma!” I say when she stops and turns looking for who called her, but she doesn’t see me. I smile as the tears line my eyes. This was my life. “Mamma, catch me!” she is pulled away and resumes chasing us. I follow behind at a distance when I start to jog to catch up to them. When I stand on the hill again, but this time, it’s dark.
