When I got my first project payment, he was even more excited than I was. Our relationship grew stronger and sweeter after weathering that storm. One evening, the three of us were watching TV together. A parenting show was on, and one of the very put-together moms was complaining about how hard it was to raise kids. Felix watched for a bit, then leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Mommy, I think you're prettier than her." I smiled. "Why's that?" "Because…" He thought about it, then said seriously, "Because you're my mom. And also, when you're working, your eyes light up. Daddy says that's called having dreams."

"Teddy, how was school today?" She shrugged, too happy at seeing her Dad than to let the events of the day ruin her newly found happiness. She glanced at the car and then back at Ford. "Mommy?" "She's coming later. While she's not here, should we go eat something together? I know a good restaurant." She smiles happily and claps her hands while nodding abruptly. The duo get into the car and they leave together. When they arrived at the restaurant, all eyes were on them. The father daughter duo with the same shade of hair made it so obvious that Ford was the father and the cutie was the handsome man's daughter.

The bond between father and son blossomed before my eyes and the baby stopped crying. "You see, now sleep, I gat this," Damon reassured me while he cradled our son on his chest, I smiled at him. "Okay," I silently slipped back into bed and fell asleep... *** Awakened by chirping birds on the window I opened my eyes to find Damon sleeping soundly on the rocking chair, our son nestled contently against his bare chest. I could not help but smile at the beautiful sight. The morning light painted a serene tableau, showcasing the depth of their love and the innate nurturing instinct that resided within Damon's being.

Am I a bad mother because I deprived my son from his father? "Mommy,"my son uttered. I was surprised and very happy with what I heard from my son's mouth. "Please repeat it,son," I said, smiling. "Mommy,"he repeated. I cried with joy because for the first time he uttered the word "mommy". For the first time he called me mommy and it felt so good to hear that. "Mommy loves you so much, son," I said with a smile and kissed him on the forehead.

“All of us.” He sighed and wrapped his arm around her. “I’m trying. I promise you I am. I just need time.” “We’ll give you all the time you need. Just don’t shut us out.” “I won’t. I promise.” “Good. Now, where’s our son?” “Mona has him.” “Okay. Good. How was your visit with your mom?” “It was nice except for Osprey not wanting to leave Mom. Every time I tried to take him off her lap, he tried to bite me.”

fuck me, fuck me, oh God fuck me. After that day the momma and the beautiful daughter made frequent visits to see the friendly neighbor and they also spent a lot of time in the mischievous son's room playing with his joystick. The momma, the beautiful daughter, the mischievous son and the friendly neighbor all lived happily ever after. And the poppa? Hey, what he doesn't know won't hurt him.

"But, who should we choose? It's not like we can just take any person off the street, mommy is special and has to have a husband that is just as special." "I know." Miguel agreed and placed his hand on his chin in thought, humming. "Just who would be a perfect fit for mommy?" He mused his question out loud. "Oh," Michelle perked up. "I know. Uncle Handsome. Uncle handsome can become our new daddy." She said, grinning from ear to ear. "Uncle Handsome? Ah, you mean uncle Zach. Yes, he's handsome and rich. But, I feel that he and mommy don't really get along."

She looked up at me, confused, suddenly interested in the conversation. “For a person to be a mommy, she must marry a daddy and then they have a beautiful baby. Like you, Hayley. Your mommy and daddy had you. But I’m only your nanny, the one who takes care of you. A mommy must be someone who the daddy loves a lot, so that they get married.”
