Christmas In Hell

Christmas In Hell

It was barely there, a testament to how utterly drained she was, how much this place was sapping her. The first Chronovore was almost upon us. It was a horrific thing, all angles and blades, its movements jerky and unnatural, as if it were constantly folding and unfolding itself through existence. Its maw opened, a vortex of swirling darkness, revealing rows of teeth that weren't just sharp, but seemed to distort the very air around them.

Dark Shadows

David yelled. “Yeah. The same mother that died when she was 4. The two of them probably look the same age. And Meadow is well aware that her mother is dead. That vampire is just walking around with her mothers face.” Lucas snapped. “How the hell can we put our faith in the daughter of a vampire. I know that I sure as hell don’t.” David yelled. Suddenly we all got a fright when Lucas got up from his seat and the chair fell straight back onto the floor.

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

Beneath Paris. Unknown Depth. Inside the Heart of the Titan. Click... Clack... In the dark, the chilling sound of mechanical arthropods crawling echoed like a torrential downpour. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of Grave Weavers poured out from the black, spherical flesh walls. Glowing with an eerie purple light, their metallic mandibles snapped frantically as they lunged toward the lone black mech in the center of the chamber. "Come on, you bastards." Sebastian gritted his teeth inside the cockpit, his high-frequency carbon blade turning into a lethal net of blue light as he swung.

Nightmare

Nightmare

It isn’t until I smell the rooting carcasses that seem to smell like a dead animal that has been hit by a car and left on the side of the road do I start moving and with the moving I catch someone’s attention, some unwanted attention. As I crawl towards Ash, I see some movement to the right of me; something is crawling out of the pile of bodies. I continue to crawl towards Ash, only faster this time, and I reach him just in time. The beast emerges from the pile of bodies and steps out into the light. I scream in horror, what kind of monster is this, its skin a deadly grey that hangs off its body, with wrinkles covering its body. Its eyes bright yellow but they have a faded tint to them. When

Romancing the Horror

Romancing the Horror

His wrinkled face looked like it was crawling with countless wriggling worms. I shuddered and stepped back, whispering to Silvia, "Good thing I've got you. This place is terrifying." She snorted and suddenly shoved me forward, straight toward George. With an icy laugh, she said, "This pretty boy will make a great offering. You're going to love him." Before I could react, George gestured, and several eerie puppets stepped forward to pin me down and drain my blood. A sharp bell rang out, echoing through the night.

Broken Nightmare

Broken Nightmare

I looked harder out the thick glass doors, peering through the rain. There was a faint silhouette of a little boy around eight running frantically around glancing up at the sky and into the shadows everywhere. I sprinted out the doors, the fat drops coming down on my uncovered head. “What’s wrong?” I stopped dead in my tracks. Sprinting around high in furious circles was a huge black shadow. Its deep red evil eyes shot through my soul and made me stagger back into the hard doors. It looked like a black ghost, but it had a ragged gray exterior that looked like pasty, dead skin covered in deep cuts.

This is a really unique and fun story. It has more action than steam and the confusion that the narrator feels is duplicated in the reader, but with curiosity. Good length, good vocabulary and writing. Totally enjoyable!

Heiress of Horror

Heiress of Horror

"Are you mad? If you have a death wish, go do it yourself! Don't drag us all into it!" Some of them even gestured to attack me. Just then, however, a robotic voice came out of nowhere. [Welcome to the horror scenario, Call of the Sea. Please head towards Sea Village, find the village chief, and obtain the Villager's Code of Conduct.] At that moment, a man with an afro, who shall hereby be called Afro, who seemed very experienced with scenarios, breathed a sigh of relief. "Whoof, at least this is just an A-ranked mythological scenario. As long as we follow the rules, no one's going to die."

My Nightmares

My Nightmares

Before I hear her blood curdling scream and then a loud thud on the front door to the apartment. At this point, I no longer care what this man or thing will do to me. Instead, I unlock the door and open it quickly before I rush through to the bedroom and meet him while he stares at me from 4 feet away. He has a sick look on his face and a piece of something is hanging out of his mouth that looks strangely like human flesh. His eyes are grey, and I could swear that it looks like he has a big bite taken out of his arm where it normally connects to his elbow.

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

The air around us seemed to vibrate with anticipation, and I sensed that something was about to shift, to change in ways I couldn't yet comprehend. I stumbled backward, my eyes wide with horror, as the ground beneath our feet began to churn and convulse. The earth split open, and a legion of the dead burst forth, their bony fingers clawing at the air as they pulled themselves up from the depths of the underworld. The sound was like nothing I'd ever heard before, a cacophony of scraping, scratching, and unearthly moans that sent shivers down my spine. The stench of decay and rot filled the air, making my stomach turn. I was frozen in shock, my mind struggling to comprehend the sheer scale of
